I honestly don't know how many places in Canada sell dragon's beard candy, let alone a specialty store for it. If you've never had it, imagine silky cotton candy wrapped around sugar and nuts; it's a fun, delicious treat. The shelf life is less than a day or melts under any heat, but it's worth trying!

Walk by too fast and you'll miss this very unique candy shop (kind of like The Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter). This handmade, traditional Chinese treat similar to cotton candy (but with way less sugar) is nuts... literally. Peanuts, sesame and coconut covered in hand pulled, twisted and stretched gooey sugar for the very low price of $4.50 for a box of 6 is more than worth trying.

A lovely shop run by lovely people. This shop has been in Montréal for 30 years. It is an institution and a testament to the owner's commitment to his community and craft that it has persevered this long. The dragon's beard candy here is delicious and made fresh every day, multiple times a day. The egg waffles are piping hot and toasty. I look forward to experiencing this delicate treat for years to come!

Try the "Dragon beard candy" :-) I really like the black tea no sugar bubble tea, great value. And the folks working there (forever) are super nice.
Very unique place that has cotton candy. It is a historic place which makes everything at the store right in front of you. Can get very busy. Staff are nice and polite. Slightly high priced.
