After supporting this place during pandemic when there was 2-3 customers in there and after having large after work gatherings here, i will no longer come here. I cam happy hour one day, they didnt have the 3 beers that i asked for (which i understand - theres shortage). They then recommended the one beer they had left. They FAILED to mention that wasn't on happy hour. So i got my bill and had to pay $10 a beer :( :( :( I thought it was a bit shady - so i will be taking my business as well as my work colleagues business elsewhere on Crescent. This is just another Bait n Switch scheme going on here.
I usually try to keep my reviews positive but I just not a fan of this place. It’s aesthetically pleasing, So if you’re someone who is into Content creation this is not a bad place to come to. The decor is pretty cool but the food is absolutely horrible. We ordered fries and had to send them back, that’s how bad it was but the drinks are decent. No complaints there. The service was also not the greatest so I would say 5/10 overall
Went for a friends birthday dinner. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I got the jumbo beef hotdog covered in mac and cheese and bacon. It was delicious. The buns are also nice and big which helps to hold all the delicious toppings. My fiancé got the Notorious P.I.G poutine and it tasted savoury and sweet and tangy and delicious. He ate every last bite and it was quite a generous portion. My friend got the Meat Tornado toppings with the house pork hotdog and it was really decadent and he said the fried egg just made it so luxurious and tasty. They also have a variety of vegetarian options as well. Overall I would recommend to a friend. However the service was really lacking. I had to call over the server to take our drink order, to take our food over and get the bill. He was on his cellphone behind the bar for the majority of the time we were there. He was also giving a lot of attention to one person sitting at the bar. It was really disappointing. The service is where I took a star away. I hope if I ever go back that the service is better because the food is really the star quality of this little gem.
We arrived at midnight and wanted a quick bite. It was a Thursday and the vibe was amazing. R&B/ Hiphop throwbacks from the late 90’s early 00’s. We were told the kitchen was closing early but after not a lot of arm twisting they agreed to serve us! We got the Eastwood HotDog with poutine instead of just plain fries. The fries were stale and gravy was too cold to melt the cheese curds. All of this was forgiven, because the atmosphere was so much fun that we stayed, ate and had a great time. The only reason I couldn’t bring myself to give them 5 stars was because of the poutine
Came from NYC and decided to stop by here late at night to try Poutine for the first time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant with warm soft lighting. Many of its patrons were having a great time listening to classic songs from the early 2000s. We ordered two different Poutine, the Classique and the St. Lau. I'll be honest. The gravy tastes exactly like Heinz Beef Gravy with too much rosemary seasoning. I was not prepared for such a flavor, as it was akin to having gravy with Thanksgiving turkey. I mean, it's alright, but it's nothing to even write home about. Any basic cheesy fries from nyc would outclassed this. The flavor of the dish was quite mild, unexpectedly. The only thing I could taste was the pound of rosemary they decided to use on it. Hard pass for me. Maybe I'll like Poutine from somewhere else.

Having read the reviews and seeing how people raved over DD we had to come and try. However, we were quite underwhelmed by these poutines. Not sure if it is because it was takeout…but the fries seemed undercooked and the dishes were similar tasting to any poutine you can get anywhere else in Canada.
This poutine is one of the best I've had.The gravy is seasoned and super yummy. Cheese curds are nice and springy and a large amount. Ordered the Notorious, which had tender & delicious pulled pork.Only disappointment was that I went to late and the food grade want available - I was so looking forward to that.Mac and cheese was great. Don't expect the cheesy, gooey, stringy kind that kids often get but this is still packed with cheesiness and flavor.I ordered for take home and devoted it before I had a chance to get any pics, LoL.
Saw a raving pesto mac poutine pic review here but sadly couldn’t find it on the menu anywhere. Waitress was too nice, and said she’d ask kitchen staff if they could recreate it for me. They said yes ❤️ and I couldn’t believe how good it was. I ate my heart out. I love you guys. Put this on the menu for real!!
Decent food from a huge (slightly overwhelming) menu. The poutine was pretty good - very herbal gravy which was unique. Bustling terrace in the summer and chill vibe inside during the winter.
