I have tried at least four other West African restaurants and I also cook African food myself at home. I can very confidently recommend Diolo. Their best items are grilled chicken, their broken rice, and the bissap. The chef knows how to grill the meat perfectly. He is a true master of the fire. I will come here every week even though I live in Verdun. It takes me 1 hour by metro to come here but it's worth it. :)When you take a bite, you can't stop!

Authentic thieboudjienne with Senegalese hot sauce. Friendly staff and good food in a nice environment. If you want real Senegalese food, you should definitely check this place out and if you like spicy foods, be sure to ask for the pepper sauce.

The food was deeelicious- starting with appetizers that wet the palate. The entree of Tiebu Jenne and the Atieke with grilled fish was to die for. This West African felt at home, was about to switch to my fingers. The drinks Bissap, ginger and Buoye all were right on time and not forgetting the cocktails. Top it with the Chakri, there was no more room . The service was very professional, guests had no complaints. Definitely a 2nd and subsequent visits in the plans. Well done.

We came to this restaurant excited to try the Senegalese cuisine. Unfortunately, upon entering the restaurant, we were not asked to produce a vaccine passport and neither were the people who entered before us. We were all seated and given menus without question. We did not feel comfortable eating there as a result, because we could not be ensured that the other patrons of the restaurant were vaccinated. We left without ordering.

Absolutely amazing! We were given suggestions and descriptions of all the items on the menu, everything looked delicious and we couldn't make up our minds. Staff was very nice. Really excited to go back soon.

I went to dine-in with my family last week. We waited for a long time to be served but the food was good. We didn’t like the service offered by the worker. I believe his name is chef Edmond. This person has a very bad temper. We witnessed him getting angry at customers. Please stay in the kitchen if you’re not comfortable working with customers.

Horrible but horrible service. The don’t put mask! The bald guy gave me my worst service in my entire life.He was rude , low key insult and rush you up.He even told me to return in France lol I was born in CanadaReally dishonest service. I was shocked and i couldn’t ask a refund because he was preparing already. This is not a normal restaurant. Please close and leave. There is a restaurant name Mam grillade in front please go there folksSincerely

Food is good usually but it was reallydisappointing lately

Food and service are excellent!

My friend and I were looking for a West African restaurant tonight, and decided to go to Diolo Traiteur for indoor dining. I ordered the Jarret and she ordered the Tiebou Dieune, and they were both absolutely delicious. I thought lamb was especially tender and super flavorful, and with the hot peppers everything went so well together. The owner was also super friendly! We would love to come back again sometime.
