I've heard the burgers at this restaurant is good, but unfortunately I was there for the breakfast and well, I was disappointed. I would have given this a 1 star, but the ONE server that was on was very sweet and kind as he was running around making sure all the customers were taken care of.The one thing that I was looking forward to was the pancakes, but since they were out of that, I opted for the Breakfast bagel. The bagel was hard, the egg overcooked and well the one thing that was decent about the sandwich was the bacon, as it was nice and crispy.Not sure if this is a common situation with their breakfast, but this was quite off putting, that I never went to this restaurant again, during the rest of my stay at the Courtyard Marriott.
Ordered the Chicken Supreme, but it took a long time to arrive. Either than that it wasn't too bad. Taste was good.
This is the best bar and restaurant in Downtown!!! If you really want to have great food, amazing time and a god level bartender service, this is the place. I am really impressed with P.P. talent since he is able to craft the best and personalized cocktails ever!!! I have being traveling the world for years and this is my favorite place so far!!! Highly recommended!!!
Darlington just reopened and, wow, they are with a bang. We finished our evening walking tour of Montreal with a nightcap. Mixologist Johnny and bartender Danik made our evening into an all out cocktail experience. Two signature drinks, Galiceria and Papillon, were magical mixtures of unexpected ingredients, designed to reach every sensation in the mouth. Their Negroni was also perfect. This team explained their ingredients, and invited us to taste the bitters separately, giving us the feeling of a personalized high end mixology class. Darlington Bar is a gem tucked inside the Marriott Courtyard. It is a fabulous late night experience.We do encourage offering light bar snacks such as nuts, cheese and olives.
I visited Le Darlington today for a quick breakfast and I had an Over easy egg which was cooked to perfection the way my mother used to make me. I was very nostalgic and happy to find out it was Mr. Sim who cooked it for me. I was to glad to have a quick chat with him. I must admit Darlington has everything, a beautiful themed bar and restraunt; the most cheerful servers and our dashing Chef Sim which i guess hardly anyone complains about. Darlington is a whole package. Thank you to the rest of the servers for making my morning more cheerful. ???
I'd highly recommend dinning at Le Darlington - Great atmosphere, great service, the meals were amazing. We stayed at the hotel so it was really convenient. The service we received was amazing! James provided a great service, talked to us about different type of activities to do in Montreal, and held great conversations. We were there for 3 days/2 nights - we ate here everyday, no need to find or explore a new restaurant. All in all perfect experience.
Veal piccata was amazing!Pizzas pretty good as well.Bartender (don’t remember his name but he’s from Colombia) is top notch. Went back 2 days in a row just because of his hospitality
I appreciated the service, the salad was very good and tasty but you need to love balsamic vinegar. The rib steak was good quality meat, but it was too cooked for medium, in my taste.
Second time staying at the adjoining hotel, Marriott Courtyard. I really enjoyed the privacy, service and food quality in the restaurant. I travel a lot and wanted something simple to unwind after my travel and prepare for a very early client engagement the next morning. The waiter was friendly, affable, and knowledgeable. I simply ordered a glass of Merlot, and ordered a quattro fromaggio pizza. It was way too much cheese, but that's what I ordered! It was super delicious on thin crust - needed a fork and knife to eat, which is a sign of a delicious mess :). I caught up on some email, enjoyed my wine and pizza and called it a night. In light of all of the other nice places to eat locally, I also sure appreciated this late night dinner in the hotel.
Went for lunch , service was extremely slow and disjointed, unattentive. Inside a hotel , I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really have nowhere else to go Food was meh and high priced
