Having dined at all kinds of chinese (real) food places, I think my opinion should carry some weight here. First: the place needs a thorough cleaning - the carpets are curled up and are a hazard. Aside from that, it is a perfect site. As for the food: We had: Pork belly hotpot: delicious! Cantonese chow mein: about a 3 out of ten. Noodles were half-fried or soggy, with very little protein (we asked for beef and could barely find it). General tso's chicken: Tasty, but not as crispy as I like - and no sauce. No spice at all. Grilled Calamari: OK good sauce and not rubbery Pork Ribs: meh.... could have been from anywhere Spring rolls: I didn't try one but the consensus was "tiny and bland". Vegetable in garlic sauce: i didn't try it, but our friend seemed to like it. The steamed rice was OK. Oh - and I had a beer - portugese??? The place and menu needs work.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. You know it's authentic when your friend order in Chinese. Big menu with lots of plates to share.

Tried this place based on the good reviews and a news article about "funny honest reviews" by the owner on their website. If you check the owner's reviews, he says not to try a dish or two(try to be funny about it), but then recommends everything else at the end, lol.We asked the waitress to turn on the AC because it was really warm inside. She didn't even understand what "AC" meant. Could see that she barely spoke English. We ordered Twice-cooked pork and Spicy diced chicken. The pork dish looked nothing like the picture on their website. It was basically fatty pork strips with some veggies. The chicken dish was tiny pieces of fried chicken with bones inside. It was crispy but difficult to eat because of all the bones. Were we supposed to crunch down on the bones? It would have been nice if the lengthy description of the dish by the owner mentioned the bones? The waitress never came by to check or refill the water(the restaurant was not busy at all). The whole experience was kind of a disappointment.

We were traveling. Taste of homemade food after two days on the road just made us very happy. Food was yummy. Waitresses were quick and nice and always made sure we had enough water. The owner even came to check on us afterward. Highly recommend this place.

They have the best fried rice in town, so flavorful and authentic! Ordered the salad noodles and beef as well, the beef tasted more Mexican than chinese. Salad noodles was chewy and sour (vinegar), no garlics in it, different from ones from XiAn. Highly recommended for their fried rice. Would come back for their fried rice as well as to try other dishes!

Was recommended this place by a friend. Stopped by one Sunday for lunch, and it was quite empty. The menu is not super extensive, but there’s sufficient dishes to cater to different preferences. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3-cup chicken, and the portion is quite generous. We also had mapo tofu, it was done in a style that was spicier what we were used to. Nonetheless it was quite flavourful. We won’t mind returning again, preferable with more people so that we can share more dishes.

3.5/5 Decent service. Good portions. The menu selection seems rather limited compared to other Chinese restaurants. Food was above average but wasn't extraordinary in any way. Also felt sorry for the very patient waitress that had to deal with this elderly lady who would not stop complaining about the A/C, the gluten free options, the plate sizes, the food, and everything else inbetween. Kudos for not losing your cool as i wanted to tell that lady to shut the hell up in the worst way possible.

Unique taste. Chicken was super good except that it has small fragments of bone. Pork with bamboo shoot was also really good. Portion is good for 2 people. Spice level is medium. Ambience is good and location is perfect, it’s right after exiting the metro Duy Concordia. Also food are reasonably priced. The owner was also very welcoming. We had a nice experience.

Quality ingredients, my wife really liked the beef and broccoli. I didn't like there take on Cantonese fried noodles. They put green peppers and mixed the sauce with the noodles. The sauce is different from what i expected. Not bad by anymeans, and like i mentioned fresh, quality ingredients. Just not what i expected in terms of taste.

Went for a quick lunch; the place is simple, food was great and so was the service. I ordered spicy shrimp, stir fried veggies and some steamed rice. Portions are large and was able to take some away for diner. Everything was excellent, the service was super super friendly ?
