Fantastic options for vegans! Each dish was packed with unique flavor and the "meats" had such a similar texture to the real thing. With so many options and a very attentive staff, this is easily one of the best restaurant options in Montreal!! I very highly recommend this place to all visiting and residing in the city. You cannot go wrong with any item you order.
Delicious food, a lot of great options! The portions are quite decent but each dish has its own unique flavours. The ambiance is warm and elegant, service is attentive and efficient!
This was my first trip to a vegan restaurant, and I was a little unsure whether I would like it. I LOVED IT, as did the other seven people in our group of eight non-vegetarians. I had the Tofu with peanut sauce and a side of crispy spinach, and an appetizer of the mango/apple/cashew salad, all delicious. Others in our party had the Pad Thai, Crispy Duck, the "cheese"cake, mango with sticky rice, etc. Every single one of us loved what we had, and the ones who had the crispy duck and the chicken could not tell that it was not real meat. We also liked the white sangria. Since all eight of us were not vegetarians/vegans, we had questions, and our servers Gabriel and Sara were very helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions, and both of them did a superb job in waiting on our table. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone, whether vegetarian/vegan or not, and you can rely on the servers to give good advice if you do not know what to get.
Delicious and creative food, efficient service, clean and pleasant place. We loved every dish we had - crispy duck, appetizer, chicken with ginger and tapioca pudding. My only regret is that we didn’t discover this place 15 years earlier:) Thank you!
Absolutely delicious.. service was very good. Will 100% go back and have recommended it to friends and family. No need to be vegan to enjoy the delicious food ?
The food is incredible, everything we tried was well-prepared and well-seasoned, with plenty of sauce. The best vegan restaurant I've tried! the service was amazing and our server was top notch. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience and a very nice and queer friendly place.
I’ve been a customer of Chuchai for almost 15 years and the quality is still as high as ever. The Crispy duck with spinach is always my fave.
Food was delicious, especially the duck!! I haven’t been so amazed by a dish in awhile. The staff working were also the friendliest, sweetest servers I’ve had like ever. 10/10 recommend
