The food was incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, the owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. I had the platanos fritos con frijoles y crema and it brought me back to my youth back in San Salvadoe with my family.My next visit to Montreal I will make sure I make this my first stop to eat great food.Mucha gracias ??
Their menu is full of choices. Either you want breakfast, seafood, all kinds of meats choices and they even have a veggetarian section. Wich is really nice because lets be honest, us latinos eating veggetarian isn't our strongest suit ? The pupusas were good. I could only eat 3 and i was knocked out! ? Recomend to everybody. You will enjoy it! ?

Small authentic restaurant, the BEST pupusas I’ve hate in Montreal. Friendly staff and FRESH- I waited a bit for my order and let me tell you it was worth every second. They don’t pile up old pupusas and then heat them up- they’re made fresh when you order. THANK YOU!!!!!
From a Salvadoreño to the world : this is the best pupusa joint in the country. The tacos, tostadas, flûtas and burritos are veryyyy good too. Craving for a soup or a more vegetarian dish? They got it. Do not forget about the Salvadorian breakfast too. I’ve known the family for over 25 years and their business is as good as it comes.
Small cute place. Friendly staff. Food is amazing! Large portions enough to fill you up. Cheap prices. Worth the visit!

Amazing food and generous portions!!! We were going to go downtown to eat as a group of 7 but instead I made everyone come to Cabanas. Best decision ever!!! The food is so fresh and tasty and the staff was very accommodating. St Hubert plaza is just a few minutes walk so we went for drinks at a local pub after dinner. I had to come back a week later to try other items in their menu and I was not disappointed. My wife and I had tequilas and Micheladas for drinks and ordered the chicken with rice and a vegetarian burrito. We also shared a plate of fried fish. Everything was so fresh and delicious!!! We had to bring leftovers home and they were a delight to snack on. I will most definitely come back to explore the rest of the menu.
Absolutely delicious and the service was really good! The pupusas were much better than many pupusas in El Salvador. That says a lot.It's so refreshing to find such high quality Salvadorian food in Montreal! We will definitely go back!The portions are very generous, all the ingredients were fresh and high quality, the service was very kind and super flexible. Even the owner came to our table to thank us and she was so kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.
