it was a very disappointing experience during my last pickup order : longer than expected waiting time, staff with very little skills in restaurant business, quality of food below expectations and - surprise - incomplete order after arriving home with the stuff...I do not see myself going back to this resto, after many years of being a loyal customer !

Clean restaurant, the tsazikis is one of the best in Montréal... the souvlaki pita is also tops

Parthenon has been here for as long as I can remember (I'm talking decades). My mom would buy me souvlaki from here as a treat. So, "that place on Van Horne" is the measuring stick for all souvlaki I eat, anywhere (mainly NYC). I'm been back in town for a bit, and I've been here twice for dine-in meals. Had the calamari appetizer, lamb chops, souvlaki plate, Greek salad, and it's all excellent. Love the warm crispy pita that accompanies your meal.Servers are very friendly, though I'd appreciate it if they were more regular about refilling your water. The free wifi is a nice extra.

They might be good at the place, but takeout chicken was dry and salad was mushy. Not fresh.

Excellent greek food and ambiance , very good service and friendly personel

Great restaurant, a combination of food, service and price. Just think for a bit - 42 years in the making- even through the pandemic this place was open, thanks to it's loyal clientele which enjoyed it's variety of dishes day by day, whether is a sandwich or a full course meal, the taste is on every bite. Highly recommended in the Cote des neiges area, keep up the good work!!!

I've been ordering from Parthenon for years, although now that Covid is here I haven't physically been there in about five years, so I wouldn't know about any changes in management. All I can say is that whoever is there now is pathetically disorganized. I'm not a tough customer—I don't know how many times they've got my order wrong—inedibly wrong, not just a small item here or there—and I've just sucked it up. If you call the next day they won't remember you, but it seems ridiculous to have to call the delivery guy back again the same night because they forgot the tsaziki—again. I have a very simple order: two chicken plates, which are supposed to come with rice and salad. So let's start with that, and then do these simple things: put no dressing on the salad. Don't even put it on the side, because I don't eat the dressing. Then, ditch the drinks. I won't drink them. Then, give me extra rice, which I will pay for. With me so far? Simple enough? Now I have another simple request: KEEP THE COLD FOOD (ie. the salad) SEPARATE FROM THE HOT FOOD. If they put the salad in the same container as the chicken and rice, it's inedible the next day. And that's it. YET—time after time after time after time after time they get it wrong. No tsaziki, but they DO put the dressing. They put the dressing on the salad, making it indelible. They mix the hot with the cold. They forget the rice. One redeeming thing was that they saved your past orders in their computer so you don't have to go through it all with the new order taker (there is a new order taker EVERY SINGLE TIME you call, so forget about being a treasured customer). Well, finally, last night, I HAD ENOUGH. I talked the order taker, who told me she was new, through the entire order (they'd changed the computers, so my order wasn't in there) item by item and I MADE HER REPEAT IT BACK TO ME at least twice. Then I sat back and waited. The delivery was fast, as usual. I took everything out and put it into other containers so I could put it in the refrigerator, and I noticed that the chicken was rather plump. Then, when I went to eat my dinner, at 9 pm, I really thought the chicken looked weird, so I tasted it. You're right: IT WAS PORK. On top of this—I had no dinner last night—it just happened to be my birthday, although they didn't know that. I called them at around 9:30 just to tell them about it and I got yelled at by the cook to call back today and talk to the order taker, so I called back today and talked to the order taker, who immediately asked someone else what to do about my order. I was suggesting that maybe next time they could at least make the chicken free, but they wouldn't hear of it. I "should have called them earlier" last night—as if they would send over another two chicken plates. Then they suggested that I inspect the order to make sure it was all right—okay, in front of the delivery driver? How's this for a solution to this rude and EXPENSIVE nonsense: I will leave them this great review and NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Bye-bye, a guaranteed once-a-month order for two chicken plates—you probably didn't need the business anyway.

Our group had spinach pie, soup, calamari, salmon plate, lamb plate and a pork souvlaki plate and the foods were really fresh and tasty.Server do check the QR code, so bring your vaccination proof and ID.

Same great food and service for the last 30+ years. Highly recommended.

Ordered from this place through Uber ordered a chicken pita plate instead I received pork.i can’t eat pork... my order was ruined.I feel like this place just sent me whatever they had left in the kitchen. It looked gross. The salad looked like it was sitting on a counter for days. The rice looked like bullets. No need to order from this place again. I strongly recommend no one should. If covid didn’t shut this place down I wish I could. Better restaurants than this by far. Horrible horrible . Good luck Parthenon !! Anyone and everyone I know will never order from you . I promise you this!!!!!!
