Maybe it is only today, maybe it is always like this, I am not a regular here, but the almond croissant was old and not tasty at all. It was basically a sweet bakery with something creamy inside. The apricot tart was ok. The late they served was cold!! They forgot to steam heat the milk! So we had to ask them to make another one. The people working here are really nice though and had a pleasant attitude
The staff was very rude and didn’t tie the ribbon around my cake box properly, causing me to drop it.I got a cake for a birthday and when I got to the cash, I asked for a plastic bag. I was told there were only reusable plastics bags. I asked the employee if I could see the bag and make sure it would fit the cake box (she just showed it to be a few seconds), she told me rudely that she assured me it would fit. I then decided not to get a bag (I already have enough of those) and asked her to tie a ribbon around the box (there was none). Right in front of me, she complained about me to her colleague. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t feel like making a fuss. Then, at home, when I grabbed the cake box out of the fridge, the ribbon was loose and untied itself and the box fell. The ribbon wasn’t even tied properly! The whole top of the cake was ruined. I had to go out somewhere else to get another cake. Will not be coming back.
Got macarons (didn't like the taste and texture except for the chocolate one) and a crème brûlée, it was so disappointing I can't put it into words! The top was not crystalized (the whole point of this dessert) and the custard wasn't delicious either. Maybe their cakes and breads are good?
To the managers: please please pease bring back the curried chicken sandwich. It was so good! Good service, great terrace overlooking the part of Côte des Neiges that is close to University of Montreal--a very pleasant part of town.
Amazing pastries! Extremely mediocre coffee/espresso products. Most staff surprised if you speak English, so volunteer French first.
Looove this bakery, the best pies ever I just can’t stop when I start eating it!!! Friendly and patient staff and they have excellent and all kind of bread!!
I love their bread. If anyone ever asks about what’s in their chicken avocado sandwich sauce, please let me know. If you’re looking for desserts, I would highly suggest the meringue & citron. The meringue is soft, floating on top. Perfect combination of soft and crunchy, sweet and acidic. Small desserts are 5-6$ on average (with tax), sandwiches 8-9$.
I got this Valentine's day special pastry: roi et reine and they were delicious!
The food is good but you're first impression walking in is that's its a dirty place. Not sure if it's the location or the client's but something is off. Premier Moisson is still great, I was just not a fan of the store.
My favorite branch to come to always a good service even though my french is not top notch, usually come for the pastries, almond and fruit pies. I wish they had more whole organic grain breads and sourdough, then I would be shopping there more frequently
