We had a truly first-rate meal here, one of the best we've eaten anywhere, and would highly recommend Bouillon Bilk. As a splurge, we opted for the five course tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was delicious and the wines were perfectly chosen for the food. One of our party had an allergy and they adjusted one course for that, while also changing the wine pairing for that person. The pasta dishes were particularly outstanding, as was the dessert -- an amazing chocolate and cocoa nibs confection. The Winkl Italian sauvignon blanc and Brunello were our favorite wines. The service was absolutely flawless -- our server Isabelle was friendly and unrushed while also being attentive. The staff unobtrusively put down fresh wine glasses for each pairing, then a few minutes later the sommelier arrived to explain and pour each wine, and a few minutes later the course arrived. It was like a ballet. Only small gripe is that the restaurant is on a fairly ugly street and our table faced the road -- better to have an interior table the next time.

Unpretentious service. Surprised to have found here some of the best seafood one may have in Montreal. Exquisite pairing of sauces in every dish and masterful use of seasonal Quebec produce.

Simply sublime. This was the #4 rated restaurant in Montreal on TripAdvisor out of 4000 and it was incredible. I am grateful that I’ve eaten at many fine restaurants in my half century on this planet and Bouillon Bilk was right up there. The wine list was impressive. There’s a 5 course tasting menu but we chose a la carte because we didn’t want the veal tartare. If you’re a foodie, this place is for you.
Secret. This humble, low-key brilliant restaurant is simply one the best restaurants in North America. Imaginative three-star Michelin quality cuisine, a thoroughly professional, proud service team and pleasant ambiance. What a treat!
This is the height of dining experience. From the reception to the incredible service and superb food, it does not get any better than here. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and there was not a single aspect that could have been better. The service is so extremely professional, the food presentation and quality unsurpassed. We lingered for 3 hours thanks to the second seating for our table being a little later. It was totally full on a Monday night. In my extensive high-end lifetime dinners, this would be tied for top position.
The restaurant is very chic, he has like a bar also in it. We passed by at noon, they have a table d’hôte menu 4 service at 50$ and a regular menu. Their plates are fancy, well flavoured, decorated and the portions are small, its like a Fusion cuisine. The service is very fast, great, nice people! If you want try something different, high end go there!
