Tried this place out after a colleague recommended it and I must say we were very pleased. My mom’s ultimate test for an Indian restaurant is the butter chicken, and Bombay Mahal had one of the best she’s tried. We got a plate of mixed vegetables, butter chicken, rice, 2 Naan breads (they are on the thin side so 1 per person is perfect) for two person it cost 35$, so a reasonable price! Our usual in Montreal is Star of India but this place is much closer to Laval and has a big dining room for the same quality. Bathrooms and dining room was very clean and service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
Second time here. Great Indian food!! Beautiful flavours, friendly service. The lamb and butter chicken were cooked perfectly, tender and bursting with flavor. One suggestion: maybe replace the plastic straw with something more eco-friendly. Thank you.
Small place, could use lighter colors, fresh paint.Luckily I went for the food.Delicious, absolutely delicious, perhaps better than Taj in downtown. If you ask for mild instead of spicy, you really get mild and still full of flavour.Prices very reasonable since located in modest neighborhood
Food is delicious but if you are a spicy lover, you really need to ask them twice to make it spicy so that they make it actually spicy. Prices are good. They serve one of the softest naan in Montreal. You can order any curry, it is good but the biryani is Bombay tawa style so if you are a Hyderabadi Biryani lover, it is not something you should order.Overall a good place to go with family and friends.
I tried so many indian restaurants that delivers around Villeray during the pandemic. This is by far the best. It always tastes amazing. Everything is satisfying and authentic.I usually get the butter chicken, korma chicken, pulao rice and different pakoras and a bunch oh naan bread.
Just ordered via SkipTheDishes for the first time and oh my goodness the food was DISGUSTING!The chicken tikka was clearly made this morning because it had a horrible foul smell. The chicken biryani also had a bad taste.Never ordering from here ever again.
Very welcoming staff! The food is always enjoyable and really delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of choices to satisfy all the taste buds. Try their mango lassi ? for an additional delicious twist
Not worth the price at all. A very overhyped Indian restaurant. Doesn't do justice to actual flavours of South Asia.
Great Indian food and quick service like u don’t have to wait if even you order bunch of food.Give them 15 minutes and food will be on the table
Omg!!! Soooo good! Everything was delicious. The fish pakoras were lightly spicy but super flaky. The butter chicken and lamb korma’s sauces were delicate with the perfect amount of spices. The Gobi Aloo (cauliflower and potatoes) were tasty as were the veggies Jazefrazi ! It was our first time but not the last!!!
