We ordered a delivery, I had the risotto with chicken. Extremely expensive, specially for what it was. A few pieces of chicken on a yellow rice (that was definitely NOT a risotto), with uncooked peas thrown on top. Tasteless. The final drop was finding a BLACK HAIR in the middle of the rice, and that was when I stopped eating. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL.
Awful customer service, the waiter was rude. the menu says gluten-free options available but YOU have to guess which ones are available, because they wont tell you. Food was nothing special, especially given the price. Over-priced for no reason. Worst experience weve had at a restaurant.
From start to finish everything was exceptional from being greeted at the door, the very polite and professional waiters and Maître’d. The food was delicious from the fresh vegetables in the Minestrone soup to the calamari and our main courses. Definitely a must on our return trips to Montreal
Excellent meal and service, wonderful small bistro environment; appreciated good wine list and cocktails. For some reason, I was very happy when I called to make reservations and the chef picked up. Felt like it was personal service.
I would give this place a 10/5 stars if I could. Staff was extremely friendly and treated me like family. The food is incredible, I had the seafood linguini in red sauce it was fantastic. I would defintaley recommend this spot, can't wait to go back.
We were 6 last Saturday and Marcello took good care of us. My wife had the Mediterranean Sea Bass and it was excellent. I had a Veal Marsala and it was the best I've had because the Veal wasn't flattened out as in run over.Worth a visit EXCEPT, don't go when the Habs are playing. The traffic was a nightmare.Bob ST. Every time I travel to Montreal I have to get my fix at Bis. They never let me down. From top-notch Matre D - who always makes you feel good about being at Bis to the excellent wait staff and chef who always deliver the goods, Thanks for always making our experience a pleasant one!
Great atmosphere, friendly service. Lamb gnocchi was amazing. Had the cod special for main. It was too salty to eat…like licking a salt shaker. I told the server and he stated I mustn’t like Cajun, which I love, thus the reason I ordered it, he took the plate, the bread on the table and all utensils and walked away. It was quite awkward and I didn’t know what to do. I waited sat down at an empty table 10-15 minutes before was recognized when I asked for my bill. For one person I figured $190 would provide a fantastic meal. Unfortunately the main was anything but.
