Great food, too bad my phone was stolen there upon it being left unattended for five seconds and too bad ALL evidence points to one of the servers who was the only person by the table in that short timespan. Owner was helpful though he proceeded to gaslight us instead of having a hard talk with his employee (also laughing at the situation was quite infuriating). Keep an eye on your belongings while in there, don’t risk a $1000 phone for awesome tapas.

Manager did not like getting a 5% tip for the 5% service we received - and this was well after we asked multiple times to have the various behaviours corrected. The manager wound up making quite a scene and engaged multiple of us to show his displeasure - very disrespectful - and really, this is something a young manager needs to learn to handle with care.

Excellent tapas, great decor and location, good choice, friendly and helpful staff. The octopus was beyond wonderful!

Food was good and drinks were okay but the service was terrible. Took an hour to get our first drink order and they were rude to our ethnic guests. Will not return.

Best staff, food, vibe everything! Been here 3times and can't get enough. :)

Had a really good experience, staff was friendly and the food was really good (our favourites were the octopus and the beef tataki!). Our least favourite were the lamb and veal meatballs.

Almost a year ago I discovered this resto-tapas and the quality and flavor of their dishes is consistent! They never disappoint me! I highly recommend the Ceviche, you can feel the freshness in its herbs, fish and shrimps. The balance between flavors and aromas is unique!

We were two couples celebrating a special occasion and it was our first time out of the house in a while. We chose Taza Flores for its great online review and its boutique vibe. Thankfully, one thing this restaurant has going is its food; in most part, it was excellent. The notable "must have" being the guacamole, octopus, salmon gravlax, orange salad. Other dishes were less successful; Haloumi was charred and the mango more like a sweet jam; Ceviche acidity overwhelmed the fish. The mise en place of the food could have been more polished. The big disappointment was the service. The team was very nice, they tried their best, but the experience was disorganized and not up to par with the price point. Dinner started with 2 different person taking our drink order but then a 3rd one serving with no memory of who ordered which drink, creating some awkward drink auction/shuffle moment. It doesn't give you much confidence this service is going to be very special. The wine pairing was a miss; None of our serving staff was familiar with the wine list, except the sommelier. Considering that most of the wine list is niche organic, this is a problem. The first bottle was nothing like what we had described our taste to be. It made us wonder if we were being pushed a specific wine rather than something catered to our taste. We had a frowning reaction, and the sommelier pointed out that the fermented aroma of the wine was from it being organic. Not everyone appreciates that, but the bottle was opened and we didn't want to create an awkward moment beyond this short explanation, so it was what it was. We ended up looking at Vivino to make our own selection after a 1st disappointing recommendation. We almost ordered 3/4 of the menu up-front; Tapas were just pushed out randomly two dishes at a time with no harmonization of what went well together, nor did the staff let us know what was being served. (e.i the cheese plate served randomly at midpoint, how strange?) It felt more like a Boston Pizza experience than anything else.I want to note that the staff was very conscious of food intolerance and extremely courteous. I know staffing is hard now; there is potential, but everyone desperately needs training. We were looking to splurge, and we racked up a large bill, but the experience left us thinking it wasn't worth it. I don't think I will be back unless I am in the neighborhood for a quick lunch.
