(New ownership!!!)I understand that before the new ownership took over, things were quite messy at this place... but, when I moved to Montreal some months ago, and when the bars reopened, I was happy to have found this spot on the second floor. I went up, it was a very chill place, no rowdiness, Leafs game on the screens for a bit of hometown nostalgia... and I went and sat near the window and got a pint and just looked at the snow falling through the window and yes.. .the Leafs falling too. Great for a game night, or just a chill after-work beer or hanging out with friends. The whole building is great and will keep you occupied for a whole night! Do come!
Whoa. This bar is good now.The new management has done impressive work to rescue this place from the ash heap that is Saint-Laurent. The staff is very professional, and the drinks are good. They've also got SPORTS.Maybe this bar will help the main crawl back from the brink? Time will tell. In the meantime, visit and see!

Disregard any reviews before November 2021!!!!The new owners have done an excellent job to bring Champs back in a big way! Champs is an all around great bar and place to watch the game.But, I encourage anyone who’s bored to read the old reviews because they’re pretty funny

This place is great! We went during their soft opening to watch football and it was amazing. Great drinks and lots of TVs. Very friendly staff.
Reopening under new management shortly!!!! Very exciting to get this gem back to the neighborhood.
