I used to love to go to Kanda's for lunch and for supper but stopped going for over 2 years because of the pandemic. I finally went back when I was invited for supper by a friend for my birthday. Sadly I was truly taken back at the lack of quality now, at the average choices and their lack of taste ; unacceptable, especially for an evening menu! The staff was wonderful though. Honestly my supermarket sushi would surpass anything I had at Kanda's that evening and at a fraction of the cost. Something has to change at the Decarie location for it will not survive past this summer otherwise.
Its my second time here, and hopefully it will be the last.Very rude and dry people. Our first visit, we came for theirs famous eat as you want, and after our first round of sushi, the owner started to question us on why we are ordering so much, and did not want to serve us the second round!In our second visit, we came for take out as they are horrible to sit in and eat, they charged us 8$ for a ball of ginger with my order of 80$ ! Come on!
Took so long to get the food and when you got it it was for a smaller quantity from what we ordered. It took 20 min until we got our next order.And then they rush you cause the kitchen closes at 21:30: Wasn’t a fun experience. You pay good money and the experience was not enjoyable.
Massive price increase, but the food and service are better than ever.
Fish is fresh and plates are well presented. They are understaff making the service very slow, but the quality of the food is completely worth it.
Did not go to the AYCE sushi, but at the restaurant downstairs. Typical chinese cuisine, very good general tao. Bad peking duck dish. Very big variety of dishes, but not all of them were good. Service was good.
I was on the neighborhood and googled an all you can eat / disappointing noted with how everything was NOT fresh, salmon sashimi ginger lettuce so old that had changed color and tasteless / dimsum dish was ok / weekend special dishes were ok / and another big disappointing possible by is when I asked for green tea, they said it is BYOB restaurant ! For 37+tax I can't say it works h the money and do not recommend / they have digital menu but the way which is cool and service is ok also
As always, amazing place to grab sushi and more. Servers were amazing! Great place to enjoy a meal
Every dish we tried was really good. I especially loved the dynamite roll! It doesn't look the way it is presented on the menu... it's even better!
The atmosphere is great, the decor interesting, service is VERY quick, servers are VERY polite, and the food is fresh and authentic!
