We ordered sushi and unfortunately I happened to swallow a plastic. There was a plastic in one of my sushi pieces. I managed to throw it up but I don’t know if everything came out .I should go to the hospital. I called the restaurant to tell them and all she cared about was not to compensate me my entire order but she offer me a free sushi roll INSANE. She didn’t even say sorry or how I was feeling . The plastic I swallow was dirty and I don’t know how much bacteria was on it . See photos below !

Nice place, the sushi is really good here, but the waiters interrupt every 2 seconds to pour more water, too much interruptions while I was trying to enjoy my meal and have a conversation with the company i was with! I am there to enjoy my time with the people i am there with, and not to have an ongoing conversation with the waiters, that bring something to the table every 2 seconds, it shouldn't be about the waiter. He brings codiments one by one, by the end it was super annoying, it looked like he was new and was trying hard, which gave the opposite effect of what he was trying to achieve, making it super annoying. I hope waiters realize that if we are at restaurants, it's to enjoy the presence of the people we are having supper with, and not make it about themselves!

Saturday I stepped into this place, out of curiosity as I read lot of good comments. It was evening, they just opened. I was right at the door, literally put my 1 st step in, when a girl approached me and said they were very busy unless I wanted to wait MINIMUM 1 hour. I learned around, only 1 table served. It was so quite. I asked her if she was serious to ask me wait that long (without asking what I’d like to order). Coldly she said that they were very busy. Too many order. ??Oh well ... I stepped out. That was short visit. I don’t bother to try to be back there again. What for? They don’t need customer. They got enough. Let’s just see other Sushi places. There are many good place in Montréal. Bye ??♀️, Atami Sushi!!!

Good in theory. Rice lacks flavour which means sushi is pretty flavourless
