I'm Greek, this was a disgrace . The gyro porc tasted like gym bag and flesh, discusting . The rice was like plastic It wasn't even edible . I have been eating tarama my entire life, I know tarama. This one had a very fishy taste and mushy texture . The salad was ok but the cucumbers were cut huge pieces no love was put into this meal. I couldn't eat anything complete waste of 75 dollars .I can't believe how bad it was , I feel terrible writing a bad review to a Greek owned restaurant if it is even Greeks that own it, I can tell you the Sunday night chef wasn't Greek. I understand times are tough and he may be cheap but no one will come back to this place after having this . I'm ashamed to call it greek. What waste of a nice location. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I had the grilled chicken plate, it was bad really bad. First it costs about 30$ for a piece of chicken with a salad that has no sauce and some potatoes. The chicken wasn't even grilled correctly it was still pink.I thought I was getting a healthy meal and it was horrible with a lot of oil dripping from everywhere.I wouldn't recommend to anyone.NB: First time trying the place, maybe I didn't order the right thing. But that shouldn't even be on the menu
March 17, 2022Prices on internet vary between $24 - $26.95 and finally to $28.95 when I called to place my order for the entire Spasti Chicken on menu. Am I expecting to much for price integrity , or has COVID and the Uber Economy made prices a guessing game? No mention of anyone trying to update their own Arahova website when I ordered and made my request. At supermarkets, you get your product for free when shelf does cash register does not match shelf price. All businesses should be kept to same standards. How hard is it to make a price and live with it. Shame on Arahova for discounting the importance of customers knowing what they can expect to pay.
Food was cold and soggy and the portions were small in comparison. They seem to be increasing the prices which I'm fine with as costs are up but don't do it at the cost of the quality of the food.
Great service Our waiter was awesome. We got the meat platter, grilled octopus, greek salad, and sangria. Large and quality portions for the price. I read the reviews before coming and the negative ones were way off. The one that claims the meat was all fat obviously doesn't understand what authentic gyro pork is ( it had the perfect balance fat vs lean meat). Yes, it's a little cold when the door opens in the middle of winter at -20 but that's normal. Have a couple shots of ouzo n you'll be fine;)
Calamari platter was more french fries than calamari. Youre better off getting the appetizer for the amount you get. Also not crispy. Worse house salad ive had and hostess was not very welcoming. Pandemic really has restaurants at their worse.
Disgusting!!!! Chicken was undercooked and found a hair in my plate, 25$ for that ??? Outrageous
We went there for lunch at a quiet time. Atmosphere is pleasant, place was very clean and we were seated right away, but the restaurant was cold. We ordered our food and it was all quite badly done. Fries were in the freezer too long. Salad was not chopped enough, had to wedge apart large chunks of iceberg lettuce with fork and knife. Lamb was completely overdone and tough, chicken was dry and underseasoned. Montreal is full of stellar, inexpensive Greek fare, so it was disappointing to have fast-food quality product in this central location. Will not return.
Cozy Atmosphere, great food, awesome experience!
Souvlaki pork stick was really small, no meat at all and overcooked and dry.
