I wanted pho from the shop next door but it was closed so I decided to go with a mixed grilled meat plate. I never usually have a good experience with these places because the food is usually not fresh. I had the Al-Taib platter and as expected it wasn’t delicious. The kofte was dry; while the beef and chicken were not dry, they were lukewarm. The service was good and pushed the overall experience to a three. I tried two of their salads as well as the falafel. Average at best is my verdict. The rice and potatoes were blah. Food like this needs to be made to order to be tasty but impractical for swift service. At $17 usd, current exchange rate, it was a good deal for the amount of food I received.

Since moving to the city a year ago, this place has been my most frequented food spot. It says 24 hours but they tend to close for a few hours after 5am, close enough though. Their pizza is impressive, some of the best in the area. I’m just as much of a fan of their Manakeesh, I’ve tried their various baked pastries/pies as well. They have a self-serve area that is more salads than hot food, the salads are made fresh throughout the day and there is regularly new types. Wide variety of beverages also. Much more to offer on the savory side than the sweet side here so don’t be thrown off by the bakery title. There is an unglamorous space upstairs to eat as well if needed. Service here isn’t the best, but with how many people they serve I can understand.

Every time i'm in the guy concordia area i end up at al taib. it's never overwhelmingly crowded and everyone is so kind. It's kind of a safe feeling place for me when i'm anxious lol. Went the other day with my partner around just before lunch hour. Has been a while! and im happy to say its still amazin. Got kefta plate with salads (chickpea, cucumber peppers and rice) and shish taouk sandwich with cabbage cucumber salad. Everything was so fresh and tastey and the guys were so nice to us too. they gave us some falafel hot right out of the fryer for free!!!! it was freakin delicious.. they also offered us extra pitas for free. i never like expect them to give me stuff for free but it is always a nice surprise. they are so chill and made us feel real special that day for sure. I relly hope they stay in busines if they go i'll miss them!! thank you al taib :)

Saj VS Pita bread? Saj.

My girlfriend wanted to try some middle eastern cooking style cauliflower and the owner gave us a bowl of cauliflower for free. Wow! We ordered a mixed plate of beef and chicken and it tastes delicious. Will definitely come back

This place has gone down hill over the years. Fatty chicken and if you go early in the morning they serve leftovers. We probably won't be back.

We ordered 2 falafel sandwich.First thing the lady working there she was using phone which is OK while preparing sandwich she didn't wear anything.Second thing she didn't heat the sandwich when I asked her to heat she said for falafel sandwich they won't heat.Really felt bad eating cold food

This place is located so accessible to the hotel I was staying at that time during my visit to Montreal in Sept 2019. Should try the food. They are quite good.

Excellent service with friendly service, for my lunch he cared to give me his best preparation: different salads and good price. I told the guy sometimes times service is not the same! He said different stuff, and he only works one day.

We found fruit flies in our food......We ordered two shawarma plates and there were fruit flies in both of our plates.Awful place, don't even consider going there !!!!
