I heard so many great things about this place (coffee wise) and how the colours of the interior are really nice as well. We had a cortado, iced latte as well as two donuts. Was all good!An hour before close, we ordered an iced americano. I would’ve at most gave a 3 star rating but everything was alright until the barista prepared a hot americano and probably realized he made a mistake. We weren’t in a rush and I didn’t mind waiting another minute but he just poured the hot americano over ice. If it was me who suggested that option, go ahead, or at least if they asked beforehand. Because hot americano over ice is practically lukewarm water with barely any coffee flavour. I understand it’s a waste if it’s shot in the sink but give us a heads up before ruining our coffee. Not sure if this is how they train their baristas, not sure if i’m supposed to be thankful it was an americano not a hot latte over ice but I don’t think I’ll be back here for a while.
Another donut spot checked off the list! These donuts were good but they but didn’t over perform. I like the variety of flavours available, some of which are different from anything I’ve seen, which is great. Some really hit the mark and some fell flat but they are large in size and for the most part were fluffy and soft. The standouts were the classic sprinkle, the raspberry and the lavender london fog.
We had coffee at their Vancouver location all the time and the doughnuts are just amazing. Coffee is as good as their usual. So happy they have opened their coffee shop in Montreal. Hope they will open one in Toronto!
I don‘t know why, but coffee in Montréal come in very small portions. The taste is also subpar. The doughnuts are good though and the interior is nicely decorated. Moreover, the guy at the cashier seemed like he didn‘t want to be there at all. Also, he told me to leave my jacket at the table already, because the place apparently get filled pretty easily (did not seem like so), which I didn‘t really get, since I could have just sat down after paying. Would probably only buy doughnuts from here, if I do come back.
Delicious coffee and donuts. The place is cozy and well decorated. Works both as a little work/study spot or for a cute coffee date! The service was also very good!
Great place to hangout and meet some friends for a coffee and amazing donuts! I was here right before the recent dining room closures and loved everything. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of seating! Will definitely be back! Great area of the city to walk around as well.
This has to be my all time favorite cafe ever! The maple latte is a must try, it was the perfect mix of salt and sugar. We went here 3 times during out 5 day trip. Depending on what time of day you go, there were a lot of students working away, we saw some sketche artists and it was overall very vibrant. Staff was friendly as well.
Our favorite Vancouver cafe suddenly popping up in our home city?! Priceless. Tastes just like the West coast! Our all-time favorite is the Venezuelan coffee ($5-6ish depending on size). Not to mention, they also have Lucky's donuts---which are large, fresh and delicious ($5ish).
Wow the best donuts I have ever tested in life. Try the chocolate one. Coffee from this place is also very famous.
