I placed an ordered on Ubereats, they accepted the order. So the order was marked as « in preparation ». More than an hour later, I realized that the restaurant closed after accepting my order. I called directly on their phone, without any answer, confirming the fact that they were closed while my order was still processing. What a bad service. I won’t even try again.

My friends and I enjoyed our meals. He ordered the fish and I ordered the goat. The sweet potato fries were so crispy. The only down side is that it took extremely long for our meals to come out.

Large portions of flavourful food, excellent hot sauce. Five stars for superlative chicken (tangy, creamy) and plantain (perfect level of char), with enough leftovers for a second dinner. Warning for a long wait (~1h) and precalculated tip, but well worth the price of admission.

My sister and I found this jewel by searching Black-owned businesses in Montreal. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior -- there's an artist at work in the kitchen! We had never tried Congolese food and weren't quite sure what to expect. What a glorious revelation! My sister ordered the Plat Végé avec Tufu -- a rich and savoury vegetable stew, subtly and deliciously spiced -- accompanied by a refreshing green salad studded with tasty olives. I enjoyed the tilapia -- a whole fish perfectly grilled, moist, tender and beautifully seasoned. On the side, I asked for banana -- what a treat! Delectable toasty-brown chunks, perfectly cooked, bringing out a mild sweetness with a little tang -- the perfect companion to the fish. The plates were beautifully presented, and the servings were generous. Needless to say, we were thrilled with our dinner. This was an exceptional find -- a priority for return visits to Montreal!

Always a pleasure going to 30 Juin, the service is ??, the food is beyond perfect. Special to the waitress, very polite , you enjoy talking to the them.

Listend I’m Congolese my mothers a chef I’m extremely picky with eating things from my culture hands down the best food I got the plantain and fumbwa too good first time going there they have a customer for as long as I’m in town they are the best and for those who are new to the culture get some fish try the fumbwa it has a peanut butter sauce to it and get some plantains or rice of your choice Congolese food is very versatile you can’t go wrong with the food they deserve 5 stars

The waitresses are super polite and kind. The place is clean, full of ambiance and the food is delicious. #Techno Malewa elengi ??? ?.

A beautiful small place with delicious meals. Among their delicious meals, roasted goat is my best.

Usually takes a bit of time so be prepared (similar to an Indian restaurant length of wait time) or call and order in advance if you’re pressed for time. The chèvre is my favourite, the plantains are my favourite and the sauces and spices are my favourite. I wouldn’t change anything about the restaurant or their menu or anything. The interior design and aesthetics are simple, authentic, warm and welcoming. The workers are kind and nice too.

Wait time is long but that is due to a high demand. The food is good.
