My first time at Dunn's for late night dinner. I was hoping for mouth-watering smoked meat sandwiches similar to Schwartz', The Main or Reubens and greatly dissapointed. Smoked meat was "ok" and the coleslaw was so bland. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.Our waiter was great ? however the food: not so much
I called 3 times on my way to this duns location to have an order prepared for pickup only to arrive there and to be told to have seat and wait , the employee where very easy to encouraged me to go elsewhere to get food in a rude manner , z when I spoke to the manager it was just as bad he did not care about my order and sent me away triying to embarrassé me in front of other clients. It’s the first time I see a restaurent refuse money send there client to go eat elsewhere. The owner at this location must be rich if it was the manager that did not even apologize for the poor service and ruined all future business
Only one beer was available on tap.Bar was empty, to much stuff on bar surface to allow some one to sit.Hamburger was great. Waitress was wonderful. They are open late and serve food.
Food and service is good, the music is s a bit too loud for dinner. This place wants to be a déli and a sports bar at the same time. When you get over that, you can enjoy the offer.For latka aficionados, they only serve sour cream, no option for apple sauce. Also, no liver pâté. The quality of the smoked meat is impeccable.
I went to this particular Dunn's (on the southshore) as I have had great experiences at the one on Decarie. I was served moldy 7up. When asked if I could switch the salami and another pork meat for something else, as I do not eat pork, I was offered a salad. When the meal already came with a salad. I ordered a steak meal to be cooked medium-well. It came as a cardboard. Dry and hard. When asked if their was a sauce. The server only had one choice for the cardboard steak. HP sauce. When asked how the meal was, my friend expressed my feelings to the server. He said that he would tell the cook. No attempt was made to correct the issue. At the end of our experience the server admitted that other customers had complained before us about the 7up. He still served us the same 7up to drink. That was my expirence at this particual Dunn's. That being said, their chicken wings were great.
Done with Dunns.Used to be a decent smoked meat place but over the years the quality has gone down. I gave it one last chance and it made my boyfriend and I sick for the second time. We were silly to think it'd be better this time. Never happens at any other smoked meat restaurant. Avoid it! Was puking for an hour.
Great classic smoked meat. Attentive service. Impressed with the number of families who enjoyed the dining.
had an order with skip the dishes, didn't arrive, the manager refused to do anything about it, didn't even attempt to call the delivery guy.Absolute piece of trash manager. He hung up on me twice when I tried to figure out what was going on, his only effort was to deflect it on skip. absolute failure on the part of the manager. Never ordering from Dunn's or skip ever again. Do yourself a favor and cross the bridge and go to Shwartz's for smoked meat. South shore has nothing worth your money here.
Sooo disappointed! Did takeout, got home and when we opened our boxes the fries were so overdone they were dark brown like they had been reheated after being made hours before! The actual smoked meat sandwich was just ok...never again!
I'm from Ontario and I enjoyed the cheese curds and gravy but the fries were lacking, I wasn't able to eat them for 20 mins after ordering so maybe they're better immediately but I cant give a better opinion on them.
