Hands down my favorite poutine place and in my opinion, the best original poutine there is. But trust me, this is no "regular" poutine, the sauce is silky and seasoned perfectly (it highlights the spices in such a pleasant balance) and the cheese...well just look at the pictures. The fries have a great flavor and texture, soft on the inside with a good crust on the outside. The staff is super friendly and very fast. I've tried most places in Montreal with a solid poutine reputation but nothing beats Alfa for me. En français: C'est bon en câline.
Huge servings. Must love cheese. There is more cheese curds than gravy or fries. Fantastic. Hotdogs are also good.
Best poutine in town hands down. The same could also be said about their sous-marin special with the smoked meat. I've been going there since I was a kid and quality has always been top notch. Highly recommended!

Service quick, steamies are great, poutine is top 5 in Montreal Area (I recommend extra sauce and Greek Poutine / smoked meat). Subs are good!This place just make all-round awesome comfort. An institution on the south shore!
The staff members are wonderful and super sweet! The food is hot, fresh and super tasty. They're quick with orders and the place is super clean. Great place to grab a quick bite. Although, the poutine is a little over priced.
Hands down the best poutine on the South Shore! The cheese is absolute fire, the sauce is to die for and the fries are always cooked proper! Respectful staff as well. I will be visiting here tonight yet again! :D This place deserves a full five stars!
Best poutine in longueuil. Burger patties made of high quality beef from local high-end butcher. Rest of the fare on par with the best of them. Clean dinning room and facilities.
Heard a lot of good comments about the place, drove 45 mins to meet with a cash only not the best experience only having cash especially in/after a pandemic, other than that the staff look professional and the food looks amazing I will definitely comeback with cash.
Well after se research as to where on the south shore of Montreal served the best poutine... We were directed to Alpha. What a good choice. The food was reasonably priced and the poutine was authentic and had a perfect sauce to cheese/ fry ratio. Seating was spaced out and it wasn't a long wait for our food. One word of advice would be to keep in mind the large poutine is huge lol!
