Look past the aged exterior, walk over the well worn floor, approach the counter that no longer has stools at its edge and order some smoked meat. This charming father &son duo work so well together. After a long super hot day, they are still making jokes and serving up the best smoked meat we've ever had. Piled high and tender, not overly salty. We are not certain how they make money with the amount of cheese curds on their poutine that almost equals the volume of home cut fries. Traditional glass bottles of soda served on the side.
Amazing poutine and smoked meat. The small poutine is a very generous serving size for the price. This is a family owned business with very friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Unfortunately after covid and the construction that was on st helene .. this resto.was open 4 days a week if we were lucky! ? And now it's new owners.A chapter that is closed forever ? will greatly miss the originals
