I ordered a salmon POKE BOWL take out and they wouldn't give me a bag, SUSHISHOP in Laval Ste-Dorothee/MEGA-CENTRE Ste-Dorothee. With the regulation in LAVAL no more plastic bag, but there are recyclable Kraft Paper Bags and it won't even cost you 5 cents each, it won't even affect your profit. Kraft Paper Bag (500pack) for less than $30. They wanted to charge me a 50 cent bag like come on. When I order through UBEREATS you deliver the order without a bag? A little unpleasant experience that I wanted to share with you all. Usually the MTY FOOD GROUP franchisees offer better service. What a disappointment! Very good image for the brand (SUSHISHOP).

Ordered poke bowl last week and this is what i got. Avoid this franchise. Looks like this is their standard. What a good franchise ??

I have been going here for years and the sushi was always good. Lately , every time we order the sushi is not great, you can see quality has really gone down. We stopped by for a quick lunch and the tables inside were all dirty, the rice was mushy, probably the last time…

I think they have better sushi in price and quantity comparing to the other places in the area

I am sooo mad! Today, 11/01 I ordered the following sushi: Diablo, Lion, Kamikaze and Inferno. I wanted to celebrate my daugter succes. I am a fan of sushi. Here is my experience: The Kamikaze and lion maki were 65% filled with cucumbers and we had to look for the salmon with a magnifier. The salmon on the diablo was macerated in a sauce that tasted like poison. We had to throw it out. The inferno was infernal. Just very salty fried crumbs with a pinch of dried tomates and cream chease the size of half a pea. Total: 38$. Value: 3$. Awful.

Have no idea how they got 4 stars 120 reviews !!! Worst sushi ever . Not sure how their doors are open and people who never had sushi will give these places 3 or 4 stars . A pinch of crab in a giant roll with tempura . Has zero taste and sushi rice are had as if been sitting for a while . I can’t believe such a place exist in Montreal with all this competition. Stay away please!!!

I’ve been ordering from there for quite a long time now, however I’ve seen a decline in their quality, their service, but mainly their cleanliness. Regardless of waiting time, I still ordered, sometimes got my usual salmon poke bowl with either frozen items, or the salmon feeling and tasting old and not fresh. Another time I found beard hair, and several ones, in my Poki bowl, and the last time, the brown rice was not edible at all, it was hard and had a very bad taste. Not too sure what happened there, but I think I am done giving them chances as I believe it could happen when they have an overflow, but that was just too much. What really made me decide not to go back however, is the response of their customer service when I kindly told them to slip a word about the situation to the kitchen. The person to whom I was speaking to told me to speak to the chef myself. Unfortunately, I will no longer be going there at all anymore. Cleanliness is a huge dealbreaker for me especially when it comes to foods like sushi containing raw fish.

Just bought it home. But, First time found plastic on the Sushi. - see attached photos. Surprised me a lot. Luckily I chowed it out and nobody including my kids in the family swallowed the plastic in. Or this gonna be another story. Also, don’t feel taste fresh and good as other sushi shop we tried. Screwed up our family time. Anyway, will be a one-time purchase. Sincerely suggest you guys improve the food quality. Food business bear no negligence.

Twice in a row I asked for spicy shrimp poke bowls with crispy sticky rice and twice I get there and they made it with regular white rice... It’s so confusing because the girl on the phone always repeats my order and says crispy rice out loud. But the worst part is the fact that the 10$ blossom roll is the same size as hosomakis for 5$. Make it make sense
