The owner is rude, some of the staff is super friendly yet others are just plain rude(especially in the morning). The website says they close at 9 yet we’ve been told to leave at 6 or 7 and they say it’s too quiet so we’re going to close earlier(this place is always full of students trying to study) or it’s because of Covid…The drinks are well made and the ambience is nice but the wrong hour schedule and rude staff makes you rethink twice before stepping foot in that coffee shop.
I came to Second Cup and paid for chocolate syrup because this way I do not have to add any sugar to my coffee. The batista added 1 dash. I kindly asked for her to add 2 more and she tells me that it's company policy to charge 0.50$ per pump. I go downtown, never encounter this. I go to Starbucks, never do I encounter such dry customer service. When i asked for sugar, the batista dropped it as if I caused her a traumatic experience. Honestly, I was under the impression that the amount of pumps went according the the size of the drink. I ordered a large coffee...
Says it's open till 21h, but the place is actually closed at 19h, what is going on. Nice pranks, never going back there
I went here for caramel carretto and the cashier/ barista didn't know how to process a coupon. I had to pay full so people in line didn't have to wait.
Nice tea and desserts, friendly staff. I've tried pear & almond pie today and it was quite delicious

I had this rated as 4 stars and went out of my way to come back make it 2-the service is always terrible with so many mistakes and when they finally get it right the coffee is terrible.Come here if you like garbage coffee!
