Ok Cuppaccino but dry paninis with hardly anything inside them other than plenty of bread. An uninspiring echoing wait before a movie.
Used to come here at least 5-8 times a month and spend my day grading papers and working. Always making sure to “buy” my seat and order coffees, lunch, etc. Which isn’t cheap, btw, if you add 15% tip which I always did. This morning was my last time. Bought an iced tea right when I arrived and sat down. I unfortunately forgot to put my water bottle away in my bag (which I always carry with me - just a habit…). Big mistake!!! The manager came to see me not even 20 mins in with his big sign to tell me to store my water bottle away. He even added that if I wanted water, he could sell me bottles of water… I’m now on my way to Starbucks…
A fantastic place to sit and work all day.Their Wi-Fi is reasonably fast. Their drinks and food are delicious. My go to is the chai latte, with a smoked salmon sandwich on a bagel. The staff are friendly and personable. After ordering, save your receipt. It will have the code for the Wi-Fi.Grab a seat near the windows, they usually have ample outlets to power your laptop.
Cool place to hang out bug selection of drinks and pastries.Staff was greatThe whole place was clean.
It is a nice place to study, but their service is horrible. I bought food and a drink, which came up to $20. In a few hours they came to say that it has been 2 hr and I need to buy more so that I can use their space. I was full and did not want to eat, and I did not even finish my drink. I told him I will get something later, and he left. Since then, he was just looking at me with attitude, I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome, so I left to another coffee place where they were much nicer and welcoming. The owners have to change their attitude towards the client, if not, people will not want to use the space. It's not like they were missing space, there was a more enough space for students to study. I was not the only one to have the experience, my friend had the same, and she does not want to go there anymore. We rather go to the second cup near The smart centre, they are sweet people. I hope they change and do not penny pick and lose out on the bigger picture, which is customer satisfaction.
I usually love this place. I study there often and on occasion I wear my mask when my medical condition does not act up. Usually the staff is sweet and the ambiance is nice. However, today I was denied service today because I have a medical condition that allows me to be exempt from wearing a mask. Today was a day where I could not wear it. In addition, I really don't think my standing up for 2 seconds will change anyones covid status considering everyone sitting down is in there for hours without a mask breathing the same air. The man who was behind the counter appeared to be a manager. He asked me what my medical condition is, which is against the law because medical status is confidential and I have the right to not disclose my personal medical issues with strangers. He told me he was not convinced that I had a medical condition and proceeded to show me that the mask leaves marks on his ears and compared my personal medical problem to a mere mark on his ear. In addition, my friend walked in with her scarf over her face because coincidentally her mask had ripped right outside the cafe. He used that fact to insist that what I was telling him was lying. We asked him to provide her a mask because hers just ripped and he laughed and said 'what I have to provide you with a mask as well?' Every single business in which I have explained to them that I have a medical condition has surprisingly been very accepting and has let me continue on with my business. This man ridiculed me and essentially, was discriminatory. Absolutely unacceptable. Humans have lost their sense of empathy with this entire COVID thing and have lost all logic. Especially due to the fact that no one in there wears their mask for hours, there should have been a leniency with someone who has a medical condition.
Not student friendly, they will kick you out if you're studying on the weekend whether the place is empty or not. Got kicked out when half of the tables were empty. 2 stars because they were nice about it.
The owner only cares about the money and the order we give. There is no such a thing like customer satisfaction. He says everyone has to order at least one item to stay inside.
Superb. Great location and great coffee. Nice place to work, while enjoying a tasty mochaccino.
All I have to say ... Their cheesecake can be compare to the one at Rocaberry or even better ????!!! Love the place and spaceous! Not too noisy so you guys can study in peace !! ????
