The bread is very good. Their desserts are ok. The customer service isnt the best

So I wanted a cake for my bday and I’ve been buying from Afroditi for years and love the place but wanted to try a new place. My coworker referred me here, after reading the reviews I decided to go there. Drove a good 25 mins to reach there and bought a Nutella cake which was really bad, I mean the cake itself was soft but the strawberry in it were rotten and caused the cake to be very bad, Really Disappointing, never had such a experience with Afroditi ever!!
Overall the food is quite good. The salads may be a little expensive but with the price of everything these days I guess it’s normal. But what I do not understand is why they bother to put a number system in place when nobody ever calls the numbers. People staying around confused because they don’t know what to do. Remove the numbers or use them.
I hesitated to leave a review but I think I should. The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. I feel like the staff is not eager to serve and kinda hides behind the counters (during busy and not busy times). Also, I don't like that the staff take the cannolis and cakes with their bare hands instead of kitchen tongs or gloves. IDK...
Actually their cx service has improved.Or perhaps I've been lucky.But between dolce sapore and pâtisserie Vimont.. I definetly will keep going to Dolce Sapore.I give them a 5 star today.
Authentic Italian Food.So fresh and delicious, nice variety of dessert. Tried their salads and sandwich too were also amazing!
Very good quality products , owner seems very giving , but don’t waist your time for any special occasions , you will never get what you ordered , not even close , tried for 5 years over and over and now i just gave up , every single time its a deception . They have it in writing all the time , i just don't understand what happens!!????
Very bad services, waited too long to be served. They state to take a number when you enter, which they do not even call out. Only young kids were working today on St Joseph day. No older person or owner to be present and make sure customers were being served. Last time I will be going there.
