I don’t get the hype.Boxed pasta taste at the price of handmade. Pizzas are alright, nothing special if I’m being honest.Atmosphere is very cafeteria like, I can see the effort they put into trying to make it comfortable, but it’s done so cheaply it’s honestly just sad. Open concept kitchens are difficult to make work.I mean it is edible, but will not be recommending or returning.
We could hear waiters gossiping, mussels were broken and tasted different than what I remember here. The icing on the cake was our waitress demanding more tips after tipping her 10-15% of the bill. I used to enjoy this place but it seems perhaps covid or something has changed the attitude here.
Vraiment déçu de mon expérience! J’ai toujours adoré manger ici mes ce soir ces non je ne reviendrai plus ! Ont nous a pressé de commander pour finalement attendre 1h15 nos repas ! Personne n’est venue pour le poivre et le parmesan etc presque pas d’eau de toute la soirée bref le calibre a extrêmement baisser ! Pas de pain chaud Calmars qui goute rien moule qui goute rien etc Mouche qui vole partout arck ! Je veux revoir le ottavio d’avant!
Wow wow and wowIve been living in Laval for over 17 years and I have never tried this place but all I have to say about is positive! From the starters to main courses and the desserts everything was absolutely delicious and accompanied by an outstanding service from the entire team but especially our waitress Melanie. She was really nice to us and took the time to explain everything about the menu. Definitely recommend this place and will be back sooner than planned!It is also a bring your own wine so make sure you show up with friends and family and the twice the amount of bottles you would usually bring.Everything is amazing at that place and they offer a professional gluten free service for people who require that type of attention. Thank you again to the entire Ottavio team.
Amazing staff! Delicious food! Allergen friendly to the max. They even have their own gluten-free menu!Highly recommend this place to any local or even visitors. Any of their locations is always a great choice!
First round of bread was cold, dense and difficult to chew. Our exceptional waitress Caroline, quickly cane back with warm delicious bread upon our demand. We ordered calamari, very tasty. A greek salad, it was just ok. Penne rosé sauce, needs work. Crème brûlée, was not set and warm! sugar on top came off in one piece. Returned it.Best waitress award goes to Caroline! She kept ahead of our needs and tended to us like we were the only customers.
