Where do I start we walked in Friday about 7:00 the place was 90% empty it took 15 minutes before someone can take our order then it took another 45 minutes to get our meal I found that a little odd. ? I ordered a jumbo smoked meat sandwich lean it was very very good except they barely put any bread on it not sure why and my daughter ordered some taco thing that did not look too impressive all in all the food is good but it is pricey for what you are getting ??
We were excited to come to a Nickels since it has been years since we last went to one. We were so disappointed. We waited for around 30 minutes and never seen the waitress. NO ONE came to tell us anything, like for example : it won't be long, sorry for the waiting we are low staff or someone didn't show to work....There was a lady cleaning tables that was sighing everytime she passed and looked very fed up. We were only two and wanted to order entrées, plates, deserts and alcohol. So I guess it's their loss $$$ but we will never go back again. Looking at other comments I am not surprised.Pu jamais.
Worse service ever. 45 minutes to take our order when theres not a lot of people, 30 mins to get it which is not bad, but didnt get any water, waitresses didnt come and check on us, took forever to get our plates taken from our table. Decided not to order dessert and leave.
The server was super nice and accomodating. We had a great time.
Horrible service.Didn't exist for more than 15 minutes.How do restaurants like this still exists with this level of customer service

Unbelievably bad service. I ordered a steak and a jack and coke. They brought me something that was a whisky slushy, the steak came overcooked, tasted like rubber honestly. I ordered a baked potatoe they bring me fries. I said i wanted a baked potatoe and wpuld you believe they said they have no potatoes!!! Nickels had no potatoes...wow.Not done...the steak was supposed to come steamed vegetables...guess what it didnt...I told the manager she told me she will take care of it. She brings it after i finished the steak and fries...the best part is that they were cold.Probably the worst service i have ever received anywhere and absolutely not taking my family to this dysfunctional restaurant.
Went there during lunch and the service was fast despite having a lot of people.We had the table dhote for pork souvlaki. The pea soup tasted great and the souvlaki dish was ??? It was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. The potatoes were also SOO GOOD. I would definitely go back. Def great quality-value ratio!
Everyone was super nice. The food was incredible, and everything is very neat and clean. I was respected by the workers. This is 100% an awesome restaurant
the food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable and our waitress widad was excellent!!!
