NO CASH?!?!? Such great product. Such great employees. To my astonishment they did not accept cash! I forced myself let the manager know how I felt so he could escalate my complaint. Absolutely unacceptable policy to not accept cash! Very upsetting. Almost walked out and cancelled my order, but I really wanted to tip the fantastic and caring staff. However I will unfortunately not support this business until they remove the No Cash Policy.
Amazing experience today at the Laval location! I was unsure of what salad to get and the employee recommended I try the seared tuna salad. It did not disappoint! Big portion with fresh ingredients. The service at the table was like none other they offered samples of smoothies and the girl who served us had an amazing energy it was contagious. Great healthy lunch option and the portions are so big the price is absolutely worth it. I will definitely be coming back soon
Wow, just wow.The service was nothing short of fantastic. Was greeted and served within no time. The staff was super helpful, friendly and attentive.The food was absolutely amazing. I honestly did not expect such fresh tasting ingredients in such short time.I will definitely be coming back to this outstanding restaurant to enjoy another one of their amazing salads!!!
The quality has diminished so much over the years. As a loyal customer who has been going there weekly (and sometimes even twice a week), I can tell you that there is absolutely no consistency whatsoever with the food and service. They repeatedly make mistakes on their orders. If you order “extra chicken” in your salad and pay $4 for 1 oz of chicken, it’s a gamble whether they’ll actually put it or not. If you order a salad, one day there is triple the dressing, the next day there is little to none… and only once in a blue moon do they get the dressing just right. You’re lucky if the lettuce is fresh! If you order a soup, one day there’s celery and dill in it, the next day there’s only broth, carrots and matzah balls… and no dill or celery. Not to mention that their soup containers are made of cardboard, so they end up drenched in broth and oil by the time you take it home because they don’t invest in proper takeout containers. Mandy’s used to be my FAVOURITE spot… but the lack of care they put into their orders has turned me off completely. Thank goodness I bought their recipe book and can now make the recipes myself, because I surely won’t be ordering from there anymore. Avoid the Laval location at all costs.
First time ordering from Mandy’s. Was really excited based on all the great reviews about their salads. I ordered the fave. The lettuce wasn’t fresh and I had ramen pieces in there and no avocado. I also found the portion was mediocre considering the price. The mustard dressing was also overpowering. So disappointing :( Can’t believe that what you get for the price ; bad lettuce, small quantity and wrong/missing items. The only thing that was good were the cookies.
This used be my favorite salad place but lately I ordered a custom salad and I found bacon bits in my salad and a piece of uncooked noodles both of which I did NOT add as an ingredient to my salad and I cannot eat bacon... That's exactly why I ordered a custom salad ... This is really bad, someone with an allergy could have a reaction because of such mistakesI'm very upset and I advise everyone to be cautious....
Best staff at the laval location! Salads always fresh, and made perfectly! The staff really takes the time to help you make the best salad to your tasting, i constantly come back, because the food & service is amazing!
Wow what a beautiful cute spot for salad lovers! We stopped here on a dya trip to Montreal and we can’t stop remembering those amazing flavours we tried! We got the Mexican salad that was full of flavour and another salad with peanut sauce and mock chicken! When we read mock chicken we didn’t like how it sounded but on the salad it was soooo good! The decor, the colors everything super cute! And the salad bowls are big and fulfilling! We were a party of 4 and we shared 2 salads which was enough! We can’t wait to come back!
Best salads in Montreal - a wide variety of salads all delicious. A monthly salad as well. Chocolate chip cookies are great. Opening in Toronto fairly soon. Toronto trying to catch Montreal re eating opportunities.
I love Mandys, but the service in Laval is just horrible. I’ve ordered twice take out, they just don’t answer the phone so you need to go inside regardless.The staff is nonchalant. It’s unfortunate because I wouldn’t mind for the price if it weren’t for the service
