Thank you to the amazing Jack Astor’s staff for treating my daughter like a queen. She loved the food and felt really special for all the attention she was given. Honestly, you are all fantastic! Great food, great atmosphere (loved the live DJ!) and we had a great time. Thank you.
Great service, our waitress was truly amazing but I was a little disappointed by the food. I ordered a pad thai (I know, expectations were low, I just wanted to stuff my face in something I can easily digest). Honestly it wasn't even edible. I tried adding more sauce to it but nothing could fix it. My brother & sister enjoyed their meals tho.
I'm really sorry, but I do have to relieve a bad review.Started by not being able to call them and placed an order in advance for pickup.Then, when I arrived I said that I would like to order for pick up and go. She wanted to take my order on the spot, I had to ask for the menu.The order was just a side dish of nachos and some chicken wings.I've been told it will take around 15 to 20 minutes. I had to inquire after 32 minutes of waiting.35 minutes later I had my starter of nachos to go.I always tip very generously, this time, I'm sorry zero.
Our entire experience here was just nearly flawless. We received excellent bilingual service from our waitress. Since we were eating on the terrace (which is heated), they allowed us to have our dog. Our waitress noticed and even brought her some water!The food was excellent. My chicken was moist, tender, and flavourful. The fries were seasoned quite nicely.The reason I removed a star is because 2 fairly common items were unavailable from the menu because they ran out. If we arrived late in the evening I'd understand. But not having and lemonade or beef patties remaining at 6-6:30 is a little wild. Thankfully the menu had tons of other solid items to choose. Our Plan B was still delicious.
Had a wonderful time!! Every dish was delicious and it's my first time having their garlic bread, wow fluffiest loaf, gosh I wish I could have it again. Our waitress Stephanie beyond amazing and funny ? wish to have her again on next visit
Kids friendly, fast service. Dried chicken breast, not fresh ingredients. I order 1lb chicken wings but got 2lb. I told the girl I couldn’t finish it all. End up throwing at the end. For the price I’m sure there’s other better restaurants around.
I was at the verge of giving a 1 star. It was a big disappointment on the quality and cleanliness. But our waitress Veronica turned the coin around by providing excellent service. Wishing her the best in her career and hoping she will grow well in her career.
Nice place, good service and great ambiance. The TV setup at the table and what they play in there is kinda lame though. The menu is what you expect it to be or maybe just above. There is no poutine as a main dish but many other interesting options. The spicy chicken sandwich with coleslaw and the burger with bacon and hot peppers are pretty good. The thing that amazes me the most about this place is their draft beers come in 18 or 22oz. Though a US and imperial pint are respectively 16 or 20oz.
Food was good, but my mom didn't get what she wanted! And it wasn't until it was time to get our meals that they let my mother know she wouldn't be able to get the asiago bowtie pasta. So, not really wanting anything on the menu she ordered the Thai shrimp curry bowl. I was a little disappointed that after such an inconvenience, we only received $3.45 off of our bill!
The beer on tap was pretty good. I was not a big fan of the burger. It was supposed to be spicy but there wasn't even a hint of heat. It was greasy but not particularly tasty. The service was fine.
