Food was delicious and wonderful wait staff. I had to change our reservation several times and they were very accommodating. We don’t speak any French but they gave us English menus and we did not have any problems. Even with the language barrier we had many laughs with the staff. Definitely recommend!

I don't understand all the good comments . The food is extremely disappointing . I could make better food at home . Felt like a scam . For the price it is scandalous . Only honorable mention is our waitress who tried everything she can to make our dinner enjoyable .

i want to thank the staff for their quick and honest reply. as i said , everyone there looked like they were enjoying their food and of course good taste is subjective. I originally gave his a 3 star, but i feel its a 3.5 considering the effort these people make in keeping the clientele happy.MAKE A RESERVATION and give it a try.you may be satisfied with the quality of the recipes … but don’t expect high end tastes.******First, the positives: Ingredients were nice and fresh and presentations were great as expected.the staff is very professional and courteous….. Perfect customer service.but the food.We were first offered an amuse-bouche, which is a little appetizer chosen by the chef and given without cost. What we we were given were 4 or 5 chips (maybe shrimp) with a small saucer of dipping sauce. These chips, can be found in a large bag for a dollar or two and showed no imagination by the chef at all.We shared a crab and shrimp cake. This was the worst crab cake i have ever eaten. The taste was OK, but the coating was not crispy at all. More limp than anything. The inside was just a gooey mush and not the expected pieces of crab and shrimp you would expect at this price. The salad it was sitting on was very tasty though. The server than took the empty plate away and asked us to keep our knives...For such an expensive meal, you would think they would have enough money to wash the knives and give us clean ones for the next course.Food Service 101, which obviously the management missed that day in school, tells you that if you are eating fish, it is proper to change all the cutlery if your next dish is meat.. I would have expected the kkep-your-knife directive to happen in a diner. For the main course we ordered two plates . The first was chicken strips in a peanut sauce and fried spinach. The sauce was delicate and quite average tasting. Most of the spinach had become soggy due to the chef pouring the sauce over the chicken and spinach, rather than spreading the sauce over the chicken and layering the crispy spinach on top. Maybe it was in the kitchen, but not the time we received it.The next dish was strange. It was listed as pork medalions. Google 'medallion' and you should see a round thin piece of meat like ... well... a medallion... What we got were chunks of pork tenderloin. chunks of different sizes.. The sauce was a caramel ginger sauce of which i hardly tasted any ginger. The pork tenderloin was a tenderloin in name only. There was nothing tender about this loin.Besides a block of rice, each plate had a small bowl of mixed vegetables. To me,, it appeared they had made 5-spice the predominant flavour. 5-Spice is very pungent and is good to complement asian dishes with many flavours. If you adore this spice you might have enjoyed this.Service was fast and friendly. i can only comment on the chef.3 days ago we had dined at an asian restaurant which was better and was 1/2 the price. Some of these issues can be fixed , although the place was very busy and people seemed to enjoy themselves which is absolutely great and I commend the restaurant to making these people happy.

If your ready to be there for 3 hours just to eat a soup - entre- main 1 hour per dish and have the time then do so , hostess ( terrible) who greets you with attitude cause your 15 mins early seriously! , food mediocre for what the reviews are and in a cramped atmosphere 2 stars at best

Amazing food and service. 5 star presentation and lots of time in between plates to enjoy the company and wine. Will definitely return.

?Wow wow wow!!?This restaurant is an ALL-STAR. I have been to a lot of restaurants and this one is a unique experience. The waitress was so nice, she took the time to explain the menu, respond to our question and check in with the chef for some informations. Amazing serviceThe food was DELICIOUS, and when I say delicious, we were a table of 5 person, all blown away by the intricacies of flavors and the carefully put presentation that was just so pleasing and comforting. We were definitely full after eating our plates as the portions were very generous. (Unlike some other fancy restaurants, you dont have to pass by a McDonalds to fill to half empty starving stomach ahah)We even thanked the owner and the chef for the experience ?If I could give it 10 star, I would. Here:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you for existing, we will definitey come back ! ??‍♂️❤️

We have been to this restaurant many times, however the last time (2 days ago). The main dishes were a little disappointing, had the Orange Beef dish and the orange flavor was way too overwhelming. My spouse had a chicken with peanut sauce, again, the peanut flavor was too much. I guess the Chef was having an off day. Will give it another try in the near future, the place is very charming and located in the picturesque of old Ste. Rose.

Having moved to Laval and looking for high quality dining , I was excited to see a fusion restaurant in the city. Upon opening up the menu, i saw many interesting choices and prices at which i expected more than ordinary. First, the positives: Ingredients were nice and fresh and presentations were great as expected. That is when the wheels fell off. We were first offered an amuse-bouche, which is a little appetizer chosen by the chef and given without cost. What we we were given were 4 or 5 chips (maybe shrimp) with a small saucer of dipping sauce. These chips, can be found in a large bag for a dollar or two and showed no imagination by the chef at all. If you adore this spice you might have enjoyed this. Service was fast and friendly. The only issue i had is when a bus girl topped my water glass. The problem was that it was my glass of 7-up.. now, its quite possible that this was new employee who was a bit nervous and missed the bubbles in my glass. The cheque came up to $100. And this was without wine. 3 days ago we had dined at an asian restaurant which was better and was 1/2 the price. Some of these issues can be fixed , although the place was very busy and people seemed to enjoy themselves which is absolutely great and I commend the restaurant to making these people happy. But if you are looking for real fine dining at that price range.. just skip it all together.
