First time there and loved our experience. We had the Nacho 2.0, the ensalada de mangos, the E-steak koreano. the Pollos Hermanos and the Camarones Y Queso. Every items we chose were all very tasty. Will definitely come back.
First time there. I was not disappointed. Super cute place: super instagramable! Food is delicious!!! Drinks too. Quality price garanteed. Great mexican food - Simple options. Will definitely go back and strongly recommend it!!
I really love the place, the drinks are awesome and the services is good but it a little bit expensive but it worth the price
loved the decor and vibe. Appetizers are good especially Guacamole and Tuna Tostado. Tacos are good, tried the Baja and Steak.
Took my aunt out to Escondite yesterday and we had a great experience. Instead of taking the "escondite special" on the menu, we chose what we want and everything we ordered we finished. The seating area is awesome, decoration and music, felt so authentic. The staff very friendly. We order cold and hot appetizers, fish and shrimp tacos + churros for desert and virgin mojitos!Everything was fresh, packed with flavors, our favorite was the mango salad. Will definitely be going back, so many more items to tryThank you guys for a wonderful overall experience
the order of tacos is 2 at the price of 10cad, I ordered tacos to go and it was disappointing to see the food they gave me ! The place is nice and the waiters are attentive, but hopefully it's just my order that was wrong! They didn't even put sauce in my order I don't recommend ordering take out.
Went there a while ago and I told myself I won't post a review but I feel like I must share the experience. The food was great but the service was atrocious and the drinks were bad. First order, the bulldog was watered down, then the margarita was too sweet. The bartender was on his phone the entire time and kept taking shots with the waitresses. Second order, I watch the bartender make the drinks, he uses the same straw to taste both drinks and when I point it out he starts gaslighting me and telling me that the drinks were too good and that I'm too drunk. I forcefully laugh to be polite. Then, he leaves again to take shots and I swear I could hear him talking about me and my friend as if we weren't there. I don't remember what he said exactly but he sounded angry and unnecessarily aggressive. Then this asian lady comes to bring our food and she literally throws the plate on my phone and then turns and leaves.I'm just very disappointed that a restaurant with such great food has such horrible staff and mediocre drinks at best. A real shame.
I ordered a variety of tacos last night through Skip the Dishes. I did not order any appetizers as I have done so in the past because, although they were delicious, I had been disappointed by the portion size of the Guacamole, Nachos and General El Chapo, especially considering the price. So this time I stuck to just tacos. The food arrived quickly. The Al Pastor, Korean Steak and Cauliflower tacos were amazing. Full of flavour. I highly recommend all three. The chicken Tinga tostada was also very tasty but beware if you don't like spicy food. However, the Fried Chicken tacos were a huge letdown. The chicken was so dry to the point that is was hard to chew. A big disappointment considering that I had ordered six of these tacos for my kids. $31 down the drain. If you want a good Fried Chicken taco, go to Cali. For the rest, give Escondite a try.
Absolutely loved this place. Delicious food (fish tacos are to die for), very good cocktails and overall great atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back
