I seriously don’t understand what all the bad reviews are about. I honestly love this place to death! The workers and chef are so sweet. I usually always take the combo 5 and the poutine sauce is amazing! Their fries are naturally cut by the workers. And the food are always fresh. My partner and I always come to Chez Gerard every week because it’s that good! I recommend eating in store because it just tastes better!
Friendly staff and generous portions. The fries are especially great and the large poutine is really big, I had to eat it over two meals.
Ordered a cheeseburger bacon and I have no clue what was in the meat, but I almost broke my tooth twice on really hard crumbs! I think it may have been some bone fragments from the meet or something! The little chunk was white and resembled a bone fragment. I threw the burger away as I was really grossed out! I’ll never go back to that restaurant!

Great fries and hotdogs
The owner, who was making the food in the kitchen, was NOT wearing a mask, at all! Another staff member making the fries had her mask under her chin. It’s totally disrespectful to the clients and it’s disgusting. We are still in a pandemic and this is unacceptable, especially in the food industry. There’s even a sign on the entrance door saying “mask obligatoire” … the irony.

This restaurant is our go too for me and my boyfriend.The owner is always working and he is very nice and polite. He always makes sure that our food is excellent. We have tried a lot of different food and were never disappointed plus the poutine ALWAYS comes in a huge size which is Fantastic lol .?
