I absolutely loved their menu. This is how a menu should be; simple and easy to read/order. Less wastage & more service/focus on what they do best, their fried chicken! I ordered 3 items, all came in at a reasonable amount of time, unless you go when it's rush hour (ALL THE TIME). There's a bit of delay. Love the crunch, the spice and the pickles! I might not try their mac & cheese again, since I've tasted better and theirs wasn't as special, but the rest was YUM! I recommend!
Where do I start.... Been seeing lots of posts for these guys so finally decided to go try them with the family. I would rate them 6 stars on 5. The service was fast, friendly and the owner was so pleasant and helpful. He showed us pictures on his phone of the burgers to help us decide. Food was absolutely delicious!!!! Chicken was moist and not greasy, portions were huge, had a hard time finishing and the Mac n' Cheese was amazing. Cheesy and so full of flavor. And the prices are very reasonable especially for the portions you get. I am definately going back and I highly recommend this place.
Tried their Chicken Calient trio. I thought it would be spicy but it's hot spicy! To be honest, I am not a big fan of that taste of spice they used in the chicken.The food was fresh and crispy. I would recommend using a thick bun for the bottom layer. Next time,I would love to add more extra pickles to add a tangy flavor with the hot spicy flavor of chicken.I would say their food is worth your money! You would spend around$ 20 for a trio and it would fill up your stomach for sure.
Cali is one of laval's must try and especially If you're a fan of fried chicken. Presentation is really good, taste is good, the chicken can feel overcooked and dry at times but it's very good nonetheless. Prices are a bit high, 11$ for two tacos and 16$ for a mac n cheese with chicken (no waffle fries and no drink). My favorite item on the menu are the tacos and Id suggest you take an extra sauce so you can dip it in, it will take it another level.

A restaurant is only as good as its service so let me start off by saying how amazing the staff is. All the employees are hard working and respectful. Lineups out the door and I still feel like a valued customer. Customer service is the cornerstone of a great restaurant experience, but the food has to be consistently great as well, and it is! Every. Single. Time. The fried chicken is by far the best I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese is definitely my favourite. I fully recommend this restaurant, worth every penny.
This was place was recommended by a friend. Their mac n cheese was amazing, super tasty and flavorful. Their chicken sandwich is one of the best I have had. I would definitely go back.
I heard ravings about this place for their chicken sandwich so I decided to try it today. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Their fried chicken sandwich is very good. A large piece of fried chicken topped with pickles, some slaw, and their creole sauce between a nice bun was more than enough to satisfy my appetite. Waffle fries were chunky with that same sauce on the side. A satisfying juicy meal.Establishment is small, seats about 20 in a small section. Clean and friendly staff. Ample parking lot. Would recommend if you have a craving for a good fried chicken sandwich and definitely one of the top in Montreal in my opinion.
My husband just came home with Cali for the very first time and I honestly would not recommend it to anyone! I have never been served a drier, more overly cooked chicken in my entire life! Over priced and burnt? The fact that they didn't throw it out and offer my husband a new batch astounds me.. who serves burnt food to someone .. did they not notice or they did but decided to serve it anyway?The picture doesn't do it justice! In person, the chicken is a dark brown whereas in the picture, the camera made it more yellowish.I will stick with Olivia's authentic chicken for fried chicken.. so much better than Cali.
