This place serves awesome sandwiches, very generous and tasty for the price. The market part of the shop had interesting dry pastas and various cool italian food items, but I restrained myself from buying some things that interrested me because there are no prices on 90% of the items. So what are we suppose to do, trust buy? They lost some money with me because of this. Also, there is a law for that...but they probably know and just don't care. But I feel that is an important part of the customer's experience and I feel disrespected when shop owners don't bother putting a simple sign with a price on a shelf. Still, will return for the sandwiches.
they're baaacckkk! my first visit to their new digs on Juliette street, and aside for more space and light, everythig is as tasty as it was. big plus, espresso bar and sweets from the bakery that was next to the od storefront. and it's zeppole-time. i couldn't hep indulging. so to recap: porchetta sandwich, espresso and zeppole. heaven on a straw platter!
This place is just absolutely amazing. The porchetta is the best around the service is superb. I love this place and recommend it to everyone . I had a small problem with a bottle of sauce and they rectified it right away. Greatly appreciated thank you ?
I started ordering from your shop during Covid using Uber eats. I love your sandwiches so much! Once things start to clear up with the pandemic I will absolutely love to come by your shop and order a lot of food and chat with you all. Keep up the great work! I love the Porchetta sandwich and so do all of my friends. I purchased an entire dinner with lots of side dishes and everybody loved everything. You guys do a super job and you’re also very friendly every time I come in. It’s a pleasure coming into your shop!!
The first time we tried this sandwich was at a birthday party and it was 8 foot long. Since then, we had to come and try it out. We ordered the porchetta panini along with arancinis. The sandwich was very flavorful. It was packed with low roasted pork belly, thinly sliced and layered between homemade Bomba sauce, marinaded eggplants, chopped iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onions served on a freshly baked ciabatta bread. The sandwiches are made on order. The arancinis were made with arborio rice, mozzarella, and the addition of beef and peas. A must try if you are in the LaSalle area!

Food is good. The only issue is the wait at the cash. The guy that works there sometimes does multiple things at the same time. They need a dedicated cashier and they need to move the cash so it doesn't interfere with people at the deli counter.
