Went for breakfast today - nice ambiance.Food was also good taste and quality.Omlates are better than waffles. Waffles were undercooked and undone! Not recommended at all! On complaining to the server she told us that it’s a recurring complaint recently. I am surprised they haven’t fixed it yet !Another thing is pricing ! While the prices may appear reasonable on the menu, they end up charging you for every little thing or even replacements…!They charged us for maple syrup tiny cups which are usually free with such meals, also I asked them to only put banana and strawberries in my little ones fruit cup which usually has mixed fruits. Guess what? They charged me EXTRA for that !!!I asked to replace the western style omlate with feta and that was also charged extra …While we didn’t take any meat in any order , that wasn’t deducted from the pricing , but all replacements were charged extra.We ended up paying 55$ for 2 people. !!! Sat down at approximately 10:05AM, waited 15 minutes for coffee, Orange juice and Hot Chocolate. Waited another 40 minutes for orders to be taken, I was seriously considering leaving table at this point, even my two girls who have more patience than I thought it was ridiculous. When food arrived, it was cold..sorry only the potatoes were slightly warm. Overall, the experience was not great. I'll go to Cafe Cognac next time is all.Cheers
Unfortunately we had a very poor experience here. The restaurant was almost empty, and it took 1hr to get our food. The food didn't taste very good, and all three of us were ill upon returning home. Would give 0 stars if I could
This may have been the worst breakfast service I have ever experienced. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our beverage order and then another 30 to bring our drinks (coffee and water). From there, we waited another 35 minutes for a waitress to take our order (who we had to ask to take our order) and yet another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When our food was brought, it was the wrong order and cold, and the waitress was super rude, making us feel as though it were our fault it was wrong. Overall the waitress was very inattentive, rude and never refilled our coffee, asked us how our meal was or checked on us once. Breakfast is pretty hard to mess up, but somehow this was an absolute disaster! Will not go back.
Save your money and find somewhere else to get your monies worth. Horrible service if you are eating at the restaurant. It appears that online orders are their preferred means to make money while the rest of us need to wait an average of 45 minutes for a simple meal. I never like to wish ill of local business, but this is the one I wish bites the dust.
Every single time I went there to eat it was great, service and food was great, with covid happening and all I'd rather order online. Unfortunately you can clearly see where they care about the clients more because I recieved my food and the meat was great, the eggs tho.. they were supposed to be over easy but clearly overcooked, there was no liquid at all, you can see this on the picture itself. Very disappointed, you also have to buy the syrup on the side, small container for 2$. My meal included the pancake but the pancakes don't come with anything no fruit no syrup, literally nothing. I took coffee with my meal and wasn't offered any options for my sugar and cream, I figured they'd give me a bit with the coffee as there was no options but I was wrong. I recieved a black coffee with no creams no sugar to put into it. I've never been so disappointed to the point to make a review but I just had to. My eggs were what deceived me the most honestly.
Me and my mother inlaw came in for lunch and waited 10min at the door to be seated. No one came but yet 3 waiter looked at us no one said anything. So we decided seat ourself while waving to the waitress where we were seating and waited 5min and still no one came. So we waited out .
pictures dont always look like what you order...we ordered the mixed wild berry waffle...$17+.... for it to get here covered in a pile of FROZEN MUSHY berries. it liquefied the nutella and made the waffle totally soggy....ugh...gross
I was excited when I saw the menu, but overall it was very disappointing. It took a long time for us to get our order in, and food for 2 took well over an hour. The restaurant wasn't very busy so I don't see why it would take so long. Small thing as well, ie. If someone asks for a water, bring water for the table. If one meal is missing an item, take a second to check that the other meal is okay. I probably won't go back.
Service is AWFUL, walk in waited 10 minutes just to be looked at and be completely 100% ingnored. Yeah definitely wouldn't recommend it.
