So this was my moms and my First time eating here , we are not from the area we decided to take a little extra ride from aylmer to try something new , at first we were super irritated as it took 20 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink .. let me say it was quite busy in there and everyone seemed to be working hard so we stayed as patient as possible ! But here’s the scoop So there is a table infront of the kitchen with direct eye view into the kitchen where you can see plates being served / handled and finished plating which I noticed the waitress's do.. found that kind of odd since they handle almost everything else in the restaurant why would they be touching our food with their fingers ? anyway ,from one kitchen staff to another we don’t have time to wash our hands lol so to touch many peoples meals ( cross contamination) with possible major allergy issues , plus touching things around the restaurant . one waitress in particular kept touching meals to place nicely on plate and then wiping her hands on her shirt and she was also continuously tucking her hair( bangs) behind her ears and me and mom were just grateful to know that wasn’t our waitress .. but as soon as we see HER come with our meal we declined it right away and explained exactly what we saw , She didn’t argue or deny what happened Which I respect . I believe it was the manager who came back to directly apologize and even brought our fresh meals to us personally which was appreciated ! I find the matter was resolved in a great way , the food was delicious and it was worth the wait and I will take the extra drive out of town just to get my breakfast here ! I do apologize to the young lady if we got her into trouble , I know exactly what it’s like to work in that kind of environment and it isn’t always a breeze but to be more careful would benefit you in your place of work . Hopefully in this case a little Constructive Criticism can go a long way !
Good food, service was slower than normal
Very displeased with this restaurant. Firstly the women's washroom was a mess, second the food was awful. I had the baked Mac and Cheese and it tasted exactly like the cast iron pan it was baked in. The meal came with chicken wings, the small wings were good but the larger ones were ice cold in the middle. The Service was poor as well as the waitress was barley around and it wasn't even a busy evening. I will not be going back.

Located across the street from the Wal-Mart it is a good place to stop when famished! The menu has subs, pizza and great kids items. They also carry local beers.
been going here since 1980 and anytime we are in Quebec we always stop at a Mike's. they never disappoint.
