La serveuse était super! Bon service, patiente et compréhensive! Les repas sont arrivés vites! Je ne connais pas son nom malheureusement, mais je la recommande :)
Was no acknowledgment of reservation, Wait for food was 1+ hours. When it did finally come, food was swimming in grease, overcooked and inedible. Wait staff were inattentive, room was excessively loud, was food and garbage were under the table when we arrived. Will never be coming again.
we waited 30 mins for a waiter to tell us there was a 40 mins long wait in the kitchen and that we could leave if we didnât want to wait
Good food, unique flavour- loved the burger and their fish and chips. It was very noisy and very busy, which is good (but difficult to visit with others) my meal came quite cold but they reheated it and it was good. Slow but pleasant service!
The hamburgers were tasty. I had a salad and really enjoyed i.t. My husband had fries, they were really good.
Food and drinks were lovely but slow to arrive. Had to flag down staff to order but they were all very friendly with good food and drink suggestions!
Saturday, June 11, 2022 I’ve been dinning at the PUB and meeting friends, students, and clients at the Café for a few years now. The experience is one of inner-urban delight, heritage and as become my sanctuary. The new project adds to this by demonstrating sustainability and entertainment. Thank you, LLP
Fun time. Great pub atmosphere. Had the wings and Greek salad which were plentiful and good.
There were 5 people at our table. One beet salad tasted like canned beets, 3 ceasar salads with little dressing, wilted romaine, a few croutons , minimal cheese and hardly any bacon bits. I had nachos and they were cold, cheese cold and rubbery and hardly any toppings. Too bad because it was a special luncheon and we alll left disappointed. My cousin had the intention of booking a bridal shower with catering at The British, and decided to book at another venue because of the poor quality of the food.
We were there during very busy period. Wait staff was excellent, drinks & water all filled quickly and very attentive. Food was quick, hot and tasty. We stuck with pub fare; burgers and wraps. Very impressed. We highly recommend and will definitely return.
