Pacini is a great local restaurant. I had a fantastic breakfast here with very good service. We were impressed with the choices on the breakfast menu and would absolutely return. We attended another evening prior that was very busy but the service was friendly, efficient and prompt. Relaxed atmosphere and a nice place. Great family restaurant.
I found everything to be expensive for the quality (both food and drinks).Overall nothing was "bad" but nothing was "great". Everything was "okay".For the price point though, I would probably dine elsewhere in the future, if I wanted Italian cuisine.

I want to make it clear. The table service is very good most of the time. The staff is nice, polite and dedicated. No problems with bill splitting and no errors.The food is where the problem is. It is mostly overcooked, bland or overly salted. The presentation is always the same: everything thrown in a container of some sort which looks like a garbage heap. Overcooked veal and pastas, dry pizza, spongy mushrooms and lasagna that looks and tastes similar to what is being served in an economy class airliner.Two times, the men's room was neglected and the toilet clogged and to the point of overflowing.For the prices, which are substantial, you better avoid.
Delicious pasta and shrimp or salmon. I am not a big coffee drinker, but even the coffee was smooth and satisfying. Great service.
As a decades long fan of the Pacini franchise I must say this is the GO-TO location for anyone in Ottawa. The service is satisfactory, but is made up by the all you can eat bread bar. Between garlic butter, pesto and tomato spreads over a variety of different breads—the pacini bread bar is unmatched. The menu prices are relatively high for the quality of food but once again, it is made up by the extravagant bread bar. This location would receive 5 stars however their insistence on enforcing their mask policy selectively (forcing a disabled woman to put on a mask to walk to her table but not minding other patrons waking to the bread & from the bread bar unmasked) will cost them a star
We went for a family dinner - 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. The service was horrible. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks. At one point another server came over to help us and then ours ran up to say it was hers. They have a bread grilling station where you select and grill your own bread but it’s just sliced bread that’s not that good and the grills barely does the job. I’d much rather have fresh bread brought to the table. I don’t eat bread but for the kids for sure. The calamari was actually good. Our oldest liked her food, the rest of ours wasn’t great. My partner asked for gluten free pasta that was extra but they forgot and brought normal. He’s not celiac but does react to wheat and had a distended stomach until the next day. He didn’t want to send it back because we were starving by that point because it had taken so long to get anything. Ordered another drink for my daughter and she forgot. Asked again the next time she came by. It was just an ice tea and the place wasn’t that busy so I don’t know what was happening. I had the chicken and it was over cooked and covered in too much sauce. I was going to give some of the veggies to my son but they weren’t really cooked so couldn’t give them. So besides the calamari, nothing else was good (chicken, seafood pasta, escargot, fries, shrimp pasta, salads were all meh). Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to eat.
An affordable place to have a delicious breakfast. Coffee refills, bright, cozy ambience.
