Large restaurant that holds a lot of people, good food, nice presentation of meals on dishes, clean, friendly staff but poor service. We waited almost two hours before getting our food. During this time no one refilled water or drinks or checked on us until someone complained. The meals were also on the pricey side but we knew this before hand.
This restaurant in Gatineau is absolutely amazing with their customer service and their allergy awareness. The menu has a section for safe food that does not contain specific allergens. Very friendly staff that went above and beyond. We will 100% recommend to our various allergy groups and to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience. 1 small thing, it's BYOB, we didn't know but that was ok. The meal itself was great.
The appetizers and main course were simply delicious. The calamari was fresh and totally yummy, the aranicini melted in your mouth, the chiken pargiana was sumtiously coated with cheese and the lamb shank was so delicious.The portions were generous. We plan to visit again to try the rest of the menu...NOT Disapointed.
Very, very poor food quality as well as poor quality in service. I went there for a birthday brunch with my family and left very disappointed. The food was bland, it literally tasted like nothing. We had to put syrup, salt, ketchup, etc. to make the food taste decent. We got there and our food came back nearly 2 (TWO!!) hours after we ordered!On top of the extremely long wait time and the bland food, it almost felt like a chore to ask to be served for anything as the waitress would leave before we got time to answer her after she asked us “if everything was ok”It cost us nearly $100 for 3 people, for bland food, bad service and very long wait time. I do not recommend nor will be returning to this location and word of caution: EVERYTHING counts as an “extra” which racks up the price immensely.Save yourself some time and money and go to Ben et Florentine or even La Crêppa if you’re looking for a breakfast restaurant in the region.

At Google this restaurant name is ottavio but the menu name is Meli Melo,a bit confuse did i stop at wrong restaurant ? I think they change name from ottavio become meli melo,here is my experience 2 egg Benedict, mushroom with brie cheese is absolutely delicious but spinach chedar crepe is so so , i don't taste cheddar cheese in it and the crepe it self is tasteless.
Went during dinner rush, seated quickly, wait staff was friendly, efficient, fast, pleasant and personable. Food was fresh, amazing, serve quickly and professionally. menu is great, really appreciate the vegan menu. Great birthday dinner
