With all due respect, I think retards work here. Rude employees, no greetings , when you say thank you they don’t reply. Orders take forever, ordered condiments on the app and wasn’t given to me, because on the app it was free but apparently I had to pay for them. Like it was free on the app I selected them and had it on the receipt but the employee there didn’t want to give it to me, like just give whatever is in the receipt, it’s simple.
1 hour to pick up an order i preordered on the app, the app offered to pick up the order inside, via drive through or brought out to the parking i chose to go inside, i saw food piled up, they are so slow, it's ridiculous, I walked in at 10:45PM, they close at 11PM. At 11:15 Pm my order number disappeared from the screen. I asked the only person serving the delivery drivers what was going on, he was so rude, told me after 11PM he gets nothing in there and it's not his problem. I tried to explain i orderedbefore closing time, but he had already turned his back on me. I went through the drive through as he suggested, when i got to the eindow the manager laughed at me, she didn't know the name of the employee who treated me horribly. She didn't know what to do to fix the issue. She asked an emplyee for help. He was the only one with any sympathy and any kind of brain. It took over an hour to get my food. I filed a complaint onlime through the app link. I wastold no one would contact me. Never going here. Even if you go to Ottawa or Aylmer, it'll be faster than this place. It will also be warm. Wonder why it's cold?
This restaurant is incapable of completing a full order without missing one items. It's not a mistake when it happens every time, it's theft.
Sat at the screens for a solid 5.5 minutes. Started saying hello and what looked to be a manager out for a break directed me to the window. They then spoke to the staff from the drive through asking who had the headsets, but I was far away due to another vehicle in front of me and had to interpret what the conversation was. My arrival to the window took another 5 minutes and I proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. Until I drove away. Were they taking orders from cars behind me at the screens? I assume so cause they were talking food and not to each other. And definitely not to me. Did I leave, you betcha! I've said it privately and I will now say it out in google, not worth it. I went to the Keg last week for a meal. It was faster than this McDonalds. No lie. After a 30 minute wait i gave up and cancelled my order. Easily the worst McDonald's in the Ottawa/Gatineau region.
Despite the power outage and being extremely busy they handled the situation quite well. The customers were generally patient and understanding that their meal orders were going to take time and error rate possibly higher than usual, but surprisingly all things considered the staff made very few errors and we all ate well.
This is an average McDonald's, not the best but not the worst. Generally, the service is much better and faster in the morning and during the day, than at night. As with any other restaurant, it's important to double check your order/bag to see if everything's right. Cheers to the staff trying their best.
Deserves negative stars. It's dirty and the staff are too. They wear masks around their necks but not on their faces (what's the point?). They don't wear gloves and don't wash their hands but the worst is how extremely RUDE and unprofessional they are. They gave me someone else's order and when I politly brought it up, they just gave it back to me and told me it IS what I ordered, then when I asserted that it wasn't they talked to me as though I was mentally challenged and asked me if I knew what numbers are. When I pointed out that 'yes it does say that number BUT that's NOT my number' and proceeded to show my number, they didn't even apologize for mocking me. The eventually came back with my order, didn't say a word and just shoved it at me aggressively. There's three locations in Gatineau that are completely disgusting in how they run and so different from other locations across the bridge. I'm surprised they're still in business.
Today at 8:15 we bought a breakfast combo! I would highly recommend this Mcdonalds if you want to start your day smiling and with positive vibes! ? The girl dispensing food was so nice and gave our food with a happy face! More employee like her please! ? It can change someone's mood and day! ?
I would not recommend this location to anyone. While visiting the drive thru I had the most appalling experience with the Manager. There was an error in the order and I needed to go inside to rectify the problem at hand. Her behavior towards the situation was anything but acceptable in the customer service industry. She had a complete disregard for solving the error and was arrogant plus extremely condescending towards me. I love McDonalds and so does my family but this employee has turned my off my favourite restaurant. I can’t believe a company would allow their management to treat customers this way.
