Near-legendary reputation, wonderful food, big personalities, people who really love what they do, Marroush is truly an experience of it's own. This is basically the shawarma Mecca of the Ottawa-Gatineau area.

Best Shawarma in the Gatineau Ottawa area and most likely in the world. Ask for the Bazooka you will not be disappointed!!

Best shawarma in town! My go to place, especially for their amazing hot sauce. Great food, great prices, friendly owner.

The standards in Ottawa are already low when it comes to eating out ...This is not a 4.4 place. It's edible, but not great.

Generous quantities, very friendly owner and great local vibe makes it the perfect shawarma place to eat in Gatineau! Additionally to being local they're international as well, as they have a location open in Beirut, Lebanon ??!

Verry-friendly and owner never forgets a face! Very generous servings and wonderful deals to satisfy every appetite! We will definitely be back.

Marroush is amazing, unlike any i’ve tried. Super friendly staff, with amazing portions and prices. Will definitely be back!

I have been going to Marroush since the old Elgin Street days, and they are quite simply the best in the National Capital Area. You cannot go wrong with any choice from the menu. My bazooka days are long gone, but every time I go I am legitimately excited because I know how good it's going to be.

The potatoes are seasoned and peppery, the garlic sauce tangy and nice. The meat is just... Perfect. Only place to get a bazooka sandwich, a shawarma so big it can feed a family of four. Or one really hungry/stubborn highschool student.Same for the platters. Lots of delicious high quality shawarma. Out of the seven or so places I've tried in Gatineau, this is my favourite and has been for 15+ years.
