The food was very good but brisket was dry and prices are quite high.Ordering takeout was very confusing, I entered the building on the main level and was told to go upstairs to order takeout, but then they said it would be best to wait where I was at the main level... Eventually my order was taken but I was unsure where I was even supposed to go.Poutine (4.6/5) was amazing, perfectly cooked fries that held their crispiness even after sitting in gravy for a bit, deep flavored gravy and generous amount of cheesecurds. A bit too expensive in my option though.Brisket (3.7/5) had a great intense smokey flavor (similar to beef jerky flavor) but was extremely dry, not fatty enough and not large enough portion for the price. The chimichurri dip went very nicely with the brisket and provided the much needed moisture.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and we loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious pretty decent portions and amazing quality. Drinks were also good as well! Next time we plan to sit at the bar as it seems to be more fun over there!
It was pretty good, the steak was amazing and ribs were so good too. The staff is nice. My only suggestion as an foreigner is to have the menu in English, not all of us have the privilege to study french so it would be nice to have it in English, but we will definitely go back. (and the staff will explain to you the dish in English too).
Amazing service, by both an obviously very seasoned waitress and a waiter that was in training with her. Unfortunately, I feel robbed being given two miniature extremely thin pieces of brisket for 18$ without sides. When my plate hit the table, my friend immediately commented on how i'd still be hungry after. What was there was decent food though.

The food and service was good. However, if you are an anglophone I do not recommend. They do not provide English menus, nor paper menus to translate easily. I would not pay their prices to choose from a menu that you don't understand. Even with the new bill passed they have chosen to discriminate against Quebec born Anglophones. Spend your money on someone who wants your business.
We went for my partner’s bday. I made a reservation for 8 on the terrace and we had a large table with comfy seats. We enjoyed the view and the sunset. As an appetizer we had l salmon on crostini, it was very good but tiny. Je jerk chicken was good, so I was told. The brisket wasn’t my favourite but the quality was there. And the sauted veggies were very good. We tried a new beer (ipa) from Quebec. It was a good experience overall even though service was a bit slow.
This place is incredible! I absolutely loved my Veggie burger, it's just so good! The waiters were extremely friendly, smiley and in an infectious good mood. Beautiful views of the Ottawa Skyline too on the terrace ?

Amazing destination for anyone looking to get out on a free night. The service was amazing and everyone was incredibly friendly.By far this is our new favourite spot in Gatineau, and we will be returning whenever we have a free night. An absolute St-Joseph gem!
