We went here the weekend of the freedom convoy protest and I must say this is the BEST fried chicken in the country. Absolutely delicious. Attention was great too and we were not discriminated. We loved it. I recommend it. Thank you
Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and thought it was quite pleasant overall. Ordered the big family deal that they had going and received three buckets of chicken, fries, spring rolls, and some dessert (taro and custard-filled buns).To begin, the aesthetic of the restaurant is atypical and the ambience is mediocre. I wouldn't recommend coming here to lounge around. However, the food was fantastic.We went for a late lunch around 1:30pm, but was thoroughly impressed by how fresh the food was. Be prepared to wait for them to cook your food (NOT fast food), but it'll be worth your wait. We got the spicy and cumin chicken (different orders) and were impressed with how well-flavoured, moist, and crunchy the chicken was. Now that's where the "great" of the restaurant ends. The fries were alright and could be seasoned better. The dessert was above-average, whereas the spring rolls are likely bought frozen and just reheated. Overall, if you order the chicken you'll be satisifed with your purchase.In regards to the service, the lady working at the cashier was extremely sweet, worked hard, and knew how to take care of customers. If I was to give service a rating, she deserves a 5/5. However, the restaurant and management NEEDS to hire more staff as our group wondered how she was suppose to manage everything on her own. So rating the restaurant, they ought to hire more workers to improve the customer experience and not over-work their workers.Overall, a 5/5 for service (from the specific worker) and the chicken and a 2/5 for everything else averages out to a 3/5, mediocre dining experience.
Staff was very polite and well behaved. It was amazing experience. Food was delicious, ambience was amazing and must recommended place to try.
This is for the Service & Amount of food.The last time the staff, a girl, told me I need to wait for15min. But she let me wait for 30min. And I only ordered for one chicken and a drink. I asked why she was still unfinished, and she said she was making and packaging the chicken for herself. So, I saw the staff cooking boxes of chicken she took over for herself, and let her customer waiting for 1 piece of chicken.Also, people who had taste this kind of fry chicken before should know it should not have bones. And this have such a big rib.The quantity of mushroom I ordered is 1, not a half. I do not understand why you are using such a large bag if you only willing to fill it for a half. It is not that worthwhile.
Just look at the photo I posted. Not to mention the weird taste of the chicken. Would not go there again
Chicken is great, as I remember having in Taiwan.The only complaint is that there were pieces of bones (significant size, not tiny pieces) in my orignal large fried chicken, which should have been boneless.I hope they'll be open for dine-in soon!
Highly recommend popcorn chicken with cumin &spicy. They have new flavours now. So yummy. ?
I though the huge size was due to the pounding or the way they cut the breast but if you order the chicken pieces you will notice that they are humongous as well. The taste was Ok but I could not help thinking this was some very heavily steroid injected chicken I was eating. I mean the drumstick I ate was the size of my head! Well, almost. Mother nature does not make normal chickens this size! Definitely do not come here if you are looking for healthy, minimal or no-chemical meat. This place is definitely for those who value size over quality. Leave it for struggling students on a budget and the poor. I am sure you can find better meat quality fried chicken in many other places in this area.
Asian fast food chain focusing on fried chicken and other fried items. Their original large fried chicken is the most popular options and you can pick among several seasonings. They also have their own line of drinks (mostly carbonated + flavouring). I got their fried chicken (spicy) a few times; it’s always juicy and crispy but under seasoned. The most recent time I asked to season both sides but the flavour was still mostly spicy and nothing else. Also if you need napkins be sure to ask since they don’t include them.
First time ever going here and I always walk by it but forget because I tend to eat else where but this time I remembered ??.I had the crispy large chicken, fries and rose lychee drink and all were amazing. I will for sure come again sometime.
