Wow! I just have to say before the food details that the service at this location is top notch. Have visited multiple times and everytime we have the most friendly and welcoming staff and waiters/waitresses. By the time we are seated we have the delicious garlic bread served hot with butter and in no time our drink order is at the table. Delicious salads that have maintained their status quo with each visit in portion size and flavor. Main dishes are very tasty, although I will say their Chicken Parm could have more punch to it and cooked a bit longer to be crispy, but are great.Staff goes above and beyond to make our visit amazing....will be back again and again.Thank you to this location for your efforts and friendliness.
We picked up the order and went home. Two of the three meals were wrong. We returned to the restaurant and told the manger the order was wrong. He did not say “Sorry”. He just said they would replace the meal and make it up to us. When the order was ready, He sent someone else to give us the meal with no apologies. Poor service.
Our server was great. Food was excellent and we will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap supper out on the town.
Horrible experience!Place a 75$ order for pick up, arrive at the store in Hull with 2 hungry kids and its CLOSED! WHAT THE HELL? The lady said the order would be ready when i arrive. Try calling, spoke to 1 lady and she said let me find out then she ransfered me to a store in quebec city. I AM SO MADDDDD
We went ti Eat Side Mario's in Gatineau for lunch today and dusciveted that they were closed for some reason. The sign on the door said that they are clised on Mondays due to a lack of personnel. Today is Thursday. Can you twll me when they are reipening as wr really enjoy this restaurant.
I cant seem to get a hold of them. Ive tried calling now for two days i am constantly redirected by their IVR. It's lunchtime and listed as open. Pick up your phone, ive already had to call corporate.
Came in for a meal for me and my son, simple and easy! Courtney, our server, honestly went above and beyond. She not only made the experience perfect by entertaining my son, but she recommended great dishes, continued to ask if everything was good, and for the first time in a long time, we felt appreciated. Looking to book some work events here just because of this experience. I highly recommend if you dine her. Ask for Courtney to be your server!
This East Side Marios location is a huge let down. My family and I were visitng the Gatineau area, and while looking for late evening dining options, we opted in to try East Side Marios for the first time. We found that this location closed at 10PM and we visited at 8:30.Upon our entrance, we were immediately told that the restaurant was closing up very soon and that we would have to place our order within 10 minutes. This was surprising news as we were under the impression that the restaurant was still open for another 1.5 hours (Your opening hours on google needs to be updated). As we were fully commited as a family to give this a try, and we were unfamilliar with the area to find another option, we accepted the challenge to order within their given timeframe. We found the staff at this location not inviting, nor congenial, and felt like unwelcomed guests. We had accidentally spilled a glass of water during our visit and had absolutley no attenetion from restaurant staff. We attempted to clean the mess ourselves and had to reach out to another server for additional napkins - She brought 3 individual napkins and did not take notice of the spill at all until we had to ask for additional supplies to clean up. Our server rarely checked up on us, and we had to physically wave our hands in the air to get their attention as we felt completely disregarded. On the food side of things, we were given 1 tiny loaf of garlic bread as a starter to share across 5 people, two of our family members ordered meals that the restaurant didn't even have the paste noodles to make, which took the server 30 minutes to notify us about. Apart from that, the food was good, but difficult to enjoy given that we were on a tight timeline.I've had my fair share of sub-par dining experiences, but this one has to top the list of poor service for me.
Went here with my wife and two children. Not a good experience. Will never go back to this location again. Our server was ok. But the Caesar salad my wife and I had was soggy and rusty just bad. Then we both ordered the lasagna ( our usual). We even specifically said the normal lasagna. Only to find on arrival of our meals and taking a bite they completely changed the lasagna and now it is filled with spicy sausages. My wife doesn’t eat spicy foods and hates sausages. When we brought this to the attention of our server we were never offered a replacement meal and at the end of the night we were charged full cost even though my wife had mentioned her issues with spicy foods and had only taken one bite of her meal. She pretty much had the bread for he supper and a slice of our youngest sons pizza. My oldest son had the mini burgers that he said tasted a bit off. Well is would seem that my wife and youngest son were the lucky ones after all. Both myself and our oldest were very sick just a few short hours later. All the signs of bad food sickness.I wish I could of wrote a better review we normally love east side. But after this experience and wasting 95$ on the worst family night out ever. We will never return to any east side Mario again.
The food was good. As in any other east side Mario. But the service was sub par. I don't want to go full Karen on this, the waitress did give us our food. But we had to wait 30 min between when we got our menu and when we ordered, she never came and grabbed our plates once we were done even after 30 min, she never checked on us so we had to wait by the cash to pay our bill. also she wasn't accommodating for children as she didn't offer a highchair for our young kid or went to get the included dessert for our 6 year old son. Overall a very sub par experience.
