Wow, has this restaurant ever went downhill in quality!Dad and I came here for breakfast at the beginning of August before the long weekend. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but I'm pretty sure a year went by before our order went in, and another year passed by the time we got our food.The food is overpriced and the entire experience was uncomfortable. I won't be returning.
Manager messed up our meal and then charged us for the things she didn’t bring. I asked politely to not be charged for that stuff because I didn’t receive it and she was snarky and cameback saying “There. You saved a whole $5”… Did I save $5 by complaining or did she just overcharge me and expect me to be silent. Waiter was kind but management was very rude and made me anxious to speak up about getting the wrong order. I don’t think I will be going back again.
The menu is pretty darn massive and the food was delicious.Couldn’t ask for a better service. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was considerably fast. Granted we did show up there at around 1PM so the restaurant was pretty empty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good brunch place and something not too expensive.
I always love going to this restaurant because the food is always fantastic, hot and on time . The staff is awesome. But I had the most amazing time when I last whent on June 22 of this year , so not that long ago let me tell you why?We me and my father add this young 16 years old waiter with a name I'm sorry can't remember but this kid. Wow BRAVO never in my 49 years of going to restaurants and being served like he dose. He is all smiles, polite, talkative, intelligent, interesting. On time all the time ready to be at your service. I can't say enough, the way he makes you feel good after leaving when you realise how much fun and comfortable you are and what a experience you just had with on young teenager wich is really rare this day and age .SincerelyMélanie Cecyre
We've had some issues with ordering through the delivery services (missing/wrong items etc) but if you order directly and pick it up they seem to get it right. I've always found their dishes to be imaginative and tasty. Edited ....until today. First I had to wait 20 minutes later than the stated pickup time and then one of the orders was messed up. Plus ca change.....
Fantastic breakfast. The young staff are attentive and work hard, the food is delicious, coffee always perfect temp ready to drink....can't go wrong with this place.
Worst restauration experience my wife and I had in years. We had to wait almost 1h to finally receive our food. They forgot to do my plate and I received was a plate with some potatoes, some ”cheese” and a couple of olives, that it was you receive when you order a vegeterian skillets. Oh, they forgot some items on my wifes plate so they took it back in the kitchen and we had to waive a server to get our plate again. and to top it off it cost us 60$, with 2 drinks which were fine. Save yourselves a disaster of a culinary experience and eat at the A&W next door. Avoid it at all cost.I want to point out we received excellent service from our waitress. 483 vanier gatineau
I came here for brunch on a Saturday and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was slower then slow but we did not complain about that as it was busy. Got our smoothies melted and liquid, more like juice. Food took over an hour to arrive and it looked like it was just thrown on the plate carelessly. The food was colder lukewarm at best. My eggs were gooey and undercooked. Literally everything was cold. Donuts came late and were NOT EDIBLE but my server still charged me for them. It was almost comical how bad the food and service was.They said the kitchen was understaffed but obviously our food was ready and sat there long enough for it to get cold so what is the real issue? No discount was offered even though we didn't eat half our meals due to being inedible. I was brought a dish of butter full of bread crumbs for my pancake instead of the butter containers.So disappointing. Don't think I'll give this place another chance especially on a weekend. Waste of 30$
I was really disappointed. I realize it was busy, however, we waited half an hour for a coffee. Once we placed our order, we waited another half an hour for overdone dry poached eggs, when I had ordered soft.. We never got our water. The waitress had issues making change. I really liked this place, not this time.
absolutely horrible experience. I called before hand to ask if there is space for 2. After confirming with the hostess that there was space, we arrived 20 mins later and the person at the door declined us service. we asked them why make us drive 20 mins just to decline us if the person on the phone said yes…lol. The lady went to get the manager even though we just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to eat, but we stayed because we thought maybe the manager could squeeze us in. the manager comes out of the kitchen like someone offended them… she yelled at us from across the dining area extremely loud in front of everybody in the restaurant she said” on est REMPLIS! je veux protégé mon équipe ils veulent partir chez eux!”. i understand that the restaurant business is tough but I did NOT go there to get yelled at, and to make it seem that somehow i was there trying to intimidate employees is absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE. wouldn’t a simple no be alot easier?? i didn't act rude with anybody at their restaurant so i was shocked by the hostility. anyways, we went to another breakfast place a couple kilometres away where we didn’t have some one scream at us. if management is this bad i wonder what other areas has issues too. i can see why this place only has 3.5 stars
