It was my first time ordering Chinese food from Aylmer BBQ and based on the reviews people mentioned it was the best in town.I liked it but was not 100% satisfied, the food was ok not WOW and it was expensive (for 2 people = 85$) and the portions were adequate. When ordering from other place for Chinese food we have left overs for a few days but not this time around.
I grew up in Aylmer and have eaten here for over 25 years. It's really gone downhill. Used to be a great greasy spoon with something for everyone.Went with family on a Friday evening and everyone at our table (8 people) was super disappointed with their food. The burgers were tasteless (somehow overcooked yet cold), Chinese food disgusting (someone found bones in the fried rice), French onion soup with no broth, poutine with shredded cheese instead of curds, etc. Our server was pleasant but very confused/overwhelmed and missed items, and when it came time to pay she had to reprint the bills several times.Really sad about an Aylmer institution becoming so bad. Very unfortunate but none of us will be going back.
Been going to Aylmer BBQ for years. I always enjoy their fast and friendly service. Menu has many dishes to choose from. I never feel disappointed in my selection. Try their pizza! I come from Kanata for their Pizza! Great family friendly restaurant. ??
Had weekend breakfast....food and service was great.
Good portions. Lots of different items to choose from
Lasagne didn't say no meat lasagne but that is what it should be called , way way too may noodles with little sauce and hardly no meat , for 13 $ have the sense to put a few dollars worth of actual meat ,, what a disgrace ,, DO NOT ORDER LASAGNE UNLESS YOU WANT A NO MEAT LASAGNE
Great food, best egg rolls and pizza in town, Also highly recommend the chicken brochette.
I ordered Eggrolls and can’t have the sauce for it to be HOT. They say that they dont do that there. They give cold sauce because customers prefer cold sauce they say. “All you have to do is heat it up sir” she said. I said I order hot food because I couldn’t heat up nothing today. They didn’t care.
Expensive. Once, never again! This "meal" cost us 60$, no kidding!!! ?
