Service was okay. The food was fine for a Mexican place not served by Mexicans. I had the tacos and the guacamole. The guacamole was tasty but the portion was small. The tacos were good but I've had better.Decent place if you want Mexican food and you're in the area and don't want to go too far.

What a wonderful little treasure this place is. The owner came and chatted with us for a while and when the food came it was delicious. This place fulfilled all my expectations and was a great find. Closest you can get to Mexico north of the border.
Just back from a wonderful evening and meal at Barrio 14. As always the food and service was great. We enjoyed the mushroom tacos and flautas, with the best Margaritas around.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Service was tops. Now… OMG! The food! ?! Started with the chips and guacamole, very good. The mission burrito is a gastronomic game changer! Appetizing, satisfying and so mmm mmm delicious, with just the right amount of zing for spicy hot. The overall flavor of the burrito tantalizes your taste buds for a highly enjoyable meal! Our friends raved about this restaurant, they did not exaggerate! The drinks to homemade chips and guacamole were great starters. We had the soup which was so flavourful, followed by fish tacos. It was nice to be out in a restaurant, with friends, over a delicious meal! We will be back.
Service was good, place had great ambiance. Chips and guac were good, margaritas were good, tacos were disappointing, extremely small, not a lot of meat, and a bit flavorless. Plus when I asked to get dessert the kitchen was closed and there was no announcement that the kitchen was closing
This restaurant is exactly what a Mexican.restaurant should be, and more. The owner Mike(who is half Mexican) is a amazing bar tender,whips up some Spicy salsa if you dare? and is a fun and social kinda guy. The food is fantastic! Lets not forget the music, which is not commercial latin songs that you hear on the top 40 ! It is real Mexican music(ok maybe some familiar songs) that sways you in to the atmosphere,food, and bebidas?
