Food is ok but prices doubled practically over night? No longer worth the price. I realize prices of food has gone up but no where near what they are claiming. There is much cheaper alternatives in the area.
been going There for about 35 years ,the last time i was in was last summer,ribs where not tender at all,taste was not the same anymore,and i felt like the soul of the building had left,feels like your eating in a hospital waiting room.
I was saddened to hear that the downtown location has closed. When I lived in Montreal it was one of my favourite places to go several times a year. I loved the smell of the place, the look, the feel and the ambiance. Best place ever for ribs in my opinion, and even after being away from Montreal for over 40 years now, I still rave about it to people who have never been there.I must visit the West Island location on my next trip back home. Fun fact = I also used to go to Nap's ( Napoleons ) which is where the Bar B Barn is currently located.
Just as good as i remember 30 years ago. Ribs were excellent. Lots of meat , great sauce and perfect tenderness.
the people are nice and accomodating. and the food is the best.
Ribs were good quality, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking.The caesar salad was also good, but the $5 upcharge was too much for the size of the side salad.

Disappointed that the image in the front has homemade fries but not at the resto , neither onion rings. . ribs are decent. A bit too sweet for my taste. I just don't want this place to close as well so 5*
I have been eating at Bar B Barn for 25+ years and cannot stress this enough: the best rotisserie chicken, best spare ribs, and best sauce in Montreal. The other chains and restaurants are put to shame at the quality of the food here. The decor may be a bit outdated, but I believe it's part of its charm. Only wish it was closer to us on the South Shore, but we happily make the trip whenever we can.
Fast and excellent service. Food is amazing. I never wanted to go for years my wife kept asking me so one day I did go with her and I was instantly hook. Going regularly since.
